New Platforms?

  • Was reading Mr Coles interview where he was saying they can use this software on new platforms I wonder if they ever thought of a Rugby League index? Would be big in north of England and lots of stats would be available and could even be done also in Australia where Rugby leagues also big advertising at Magic weekend and both Traders and family’s could be involved oviously with only over 18s with shares/futures

What sports would others like to see on a index format?

  • @Chicken_Badge are you not happy with football INDEX? First managers and now rugby. I love it as it is. Don't want to see any other sports personally.

  • He's not saying he wants them adding to FI @Stevo :-)

I'd love to see an Index for most sports, especially an American Football one, none will match the mighty FI though!. I've also seen rumours in the past for a Celebrity Index!

  • I think the bbc had a celeb dex or something. Football will always be the best sport to do this but there’s other opertunitys took think draft kings is a American football fantasy thing but too sure how that works any news is good news be it more sites from FI or going overseas also

  • Getting a license to expand (or whatever they need) for overseas countries is the BIGGY! The early adopters should make a small fortune from that.

I believe American's can't gamble like we do over here so they get around it by using Draft Kings, I had a go at it but couldn't make it pay.

I love football index and I’m sure many like making money by studying statistics being football rugby golf or the olympics (tracks & field) business start ups are what the CEO specialises in. This is not his first success and building on a unique market makes total sence. If it was your business and you spent 2,000,000 on a sports platform surely adapting it to make other revenues and businesses makes total sence either yourself or selling franchises with your tech?

  • @Chicken_Badge my only concern is that FI seems to be quite diluted with an many players. I wouldn't want to lose people to other platforms. We want this to grow as this is the only way we will make any money from it. Football is already by far the biggest sport in the UK so I think it's the best thing to concentrate on for now but that's just my opinion.

  • How about 'Extreme Fishing Index" or EFI... Jeremy Wade would be the Neymar of the Index! ;)

  • @Jay-Frazz 😂👍 I think Robson Green would have something to say about that

  • @NewUser24858: It's like Messi & Ronaldo all over again then!

I think with Rugby League we are talking a very interesting dynamic because the sport is built around working class England in very close community’s in a different way to football. For example there are whole towns that follow this sport and many are rugby people not football. Many would also only invest in there own players more than what goes on here. The social make up very different and once a year they have magic weekend has for social make up like warrington wolves for many years been known has the Wires has it’s a town associated with the wire industry St Helens being mainly Pilkinton glass workers who make glass for double glazing I really think if done right you get a good mix of traders and family advertising would be more compact too has a close community
