I agree the rules are set so play to them. Moving the goalposts will drive investors away as people can lose out because of it.
I don't like the bonus points for a game winning goal. All goals are the same, in a 2-1 win the first goal is worth as many as the second. Also, what about game winning saves/tackles etc. Its just harder to determine because goals are black and white.
It'll be like the promotions with a low-ish start price I reckon. I'm guessing the first batch will be 25p. Hopefully when they get to the real back-end it will drop to 1p for the bottom of the rung and you will be able to trade at low prices.
Would be fantastic for advance planning day traders if you could trade obscure players at significantly less than the dividend payout.
my thoughts are all the money paid for talent spotters by the clubs and examples such as someone like Pep Guardiola wanting and paying the money for a defender of john stone's calibre in his team, I still think the cream will utimately rise to the top. I think whoever's in the top 200 more so the top 50 will win 80% of the PB. We'll see some plucky performances regularly from underdog "on fire" players and some surprise packages for whoever's lucky enough or smart enough to spot these bargains but on the whole because it's based on opta, the best will remain the best and produce the best PB scores. That's my opinion anyway, be interesting to see how things pan out
Think you need to focus on England players, there'll be a lot of triple tiered media buzz around then and beforehand so there will be a lot of chatter about England players. I've got Kane and Rashford now and will look to stock up on more players once penny stocks come in in case prices drop across the board.
Even if they don't pick up that many dividends, loads of people will be buying them just before the World Cup expecting dividends so you should be able to sell for a profit in advance and forget the dividends.
@NewUser8296 the price depends on buyers and sellers. So it seems You bought the player at the wrong time. Would you for example have bought Marco Asensio 24 hours ago you would have made 22p / per share. You should see it as a longterm investment.... Short term is always risky.
