@dionysusthyrsus interesting point about elite youth stats. Had a look at a few who also bagged loads of goals at youth level. Possibly they weren't all as good as Grennwood but I'd argue at least Portillo and Avdijaj were.
Donis Avdijaj: scored 59 goals in 53 matches at U17 and 17 goals in 24 games at U19, broke all Schalke's goal records. Current price 21p.
Javier Portillo: 150 youth team goals, broke record held by Raul, 29 goals in 18 games for the C team,14 in 11 for Real Madrid B.
Borja Mayoral: 43 goals in a season at age 18. Current price 42p
Munir: Scored 22 times in a league season for Barca youth from the wing. Current price 46p.
James Wilson: Scored loads for United youth teams.
Ellis Simms of Everton scored 32 in 21 in the same youth league as Greenwood this season.
My tactic of selling off some high value players last night while the market was flying and investing the money in low cost youngsters for the bonus has paid off. Its reduced my drop and now I can reinvest in the high value players at a cheaper rate and have them available for IP divs. I was able to predict the market this time.
Jus t have patience, I had a 50p rise in him in 3 days. The rise cant keep coming day after day. Also the media drip feed stories, so Maguire will go cold for a day or 2 and then the papers will pick back up on him after FA Cup final. He will shoot up again and again this summer, Absolutely no doubt, United are dying for centre half and he fits the bill perfect. By early June, we are talking 2£ for Maguire.
@NewUser159387 I hold alcacer but have to say he had a disappointing second half of the season after his injury. I'm hoping that with such a strong midfield at Dortmund he will get plenty of service next season. Think he is worth more than his current price but has plenty to prove again.
Spent an entire summer in '92 with my mate playing Champo as Blackpool and Crewe...
Dele Adebola where are you now?
As for footie games the C64 had International soccer.
See above where if you run diagonally you look like elvis!
Yep had that.
Here's a good one. Brian Clough's football fortunes. It was part board game, part computer game. Was pretty good but it was only a matter of time until you got a full team of top rated players and then it became pretty pointless. You'd just win every game.
Young man, i'm not saying this was the best computer game but it was in the top 1.
