I used to be in the camp of complaining and getting annoyed, but as much as it's frustrating there is not a lot that we can do about it. FI always sort it out so now I just make note of what I'm owed and wait patiently. No time to get stressed when theres money to be made on a daily basis.
Dont stress- focus on that portfolio being worth more tomorrow than it is today and when FI backpay your missed divs it will look all the more better.
My portfolio is flying at the moment, life is great.
@Black-wolf I don't know why either, he's young and the most likely heir to Messi and Ronaldo on current form and likely to be looking for a move to a big club soon, I can only see his price going one way personally...
Also should Champions League matches be worth more than Ligue 1 matches?
I put yes - basically because they are more important.
But it will make the top teams players 🚀 who will be in the latter stages of the Champions League. Madrid, Barcelona, City, Liverpool etc.
I wasn’t sure about this. As I remember last year Ligue 1 rearranged some fixtures to kick off at 1800 on CL QF Tuesday, which meant someone from Rennes could have taken the spoils.
Right or wrong, I’m not sure, but it created a market where a 30p winger could win a triple match day.
If they are saying that on a normal sat or sun, PL or La Liga will be worth more than Ligue 1, I don’t like!
Personally I feel the best value in Dortmund's defence is Schulz and Hummels.
Schulz's PB will massively benefit from being reclassified as a defender and playing in a team that wins more games and keeps more clean sheets, I can imagine him delivering a lot of crosses from a wing back position. Whilst Hummels should be a starter, given the amount they signed him for. He's a good ball playing defender and I can imagine him wracking up the passes like Akanji does, but he's way cheaper. At 79p and 78p, I think they're good value.
@NewUser74389 u must have seen quite a bit of him playing have you, to hold that opinion?
Did he not impress you?
I haven’t seen anything of him, I’m just incredibly sceptical at this stage.
He’s a young lad who’s had over a year out injured, for a start. Age is on his side but he only returned to the awful standard of U23’s Football in April. That’s not much to go off for me. It’s a gargantuan step up from PL2 to Premier League/Champions League Football in my opinion.
He’s living off a tournament over two years ago, hasn’t played above U18 level Internationally, which again is enough to put me off at this stage.
He’s not played a single minute of competitive football at any professional level, has been on the bench a handful of times and nothing more, which again is enough to put me off.
There’s a hell of a hype for this lad on FI and personally, I think the more this hype is built up and built up, the better it is for FI users. Him playing and playing poorly, getting injured etc could damage his price and people’s investments. Granted, he may score a hat trick and go on and be the best English player in history but at this stage, he’s not at all attractive to me.
Still think the T&C's need to be a lot clearer. I started off researching what happens if players retire or die, then went a bit more morbid from there. The T&C's seemed to cover virtually every eventually apart from this.
Also agree that I got a reply from the Sunday office staff and maybe not the most informed, but he replied quickly and it appears they have procedures in place.
If FI considered my 16k deposit a bet they may have kept all of it, so happy this is not the case and I will continue to deposit with no plans on withdrawing for the foreseeable future.
Just stay safe everyone, make sure someone knows about your FI account but maybe keep your deposits, profits and passwords to yourself!!
Just shows the appetite for the player though, I hold 100 and was close to hitting the sell button, however I do think that when he moves - be that this season or next it has shown just how much he will shoot up.
He hit around 14p up before dropping back down, now if the rumors were slightly more concrete then I think we would be looking at 20 to 25p by now with further increases.
More ups and downs for us holders to go through - im sticking as I do believe that whatever his next move is, will see me profit more than 14p a share.
Also not keen on the, "there's already a thread on this" unless it's a difficult question and a link is provided, as it just seems rude. I've seen this used when it would be just as quick to answer the question. To be fair though, the forum generally runs really well and most seem to want to help. I've certainly gained some useful information here, which is always appreciated.
Okay I get what you are saying, just trying to understand how FI works during the season and why players are valued the way they are. Personally think Greenwood's price is ridiculous compared to Rashford's because Greenwood would have to do very very well to replicate how well Rashford started for United, so think Rashford represents good value.
