As a neutral it would be nice to see Newcastle back up where they should be. It is a shame. Can't fault Ashley as a businessman but at what point does he call it a day, surely he has more than enough money.
If you're selling to market it all depends on the demand for the player at the time. It's not unusual for them to sit for days. If your player is falling they probably won't sell and be returned to you if your reserve price isn't met. That imo is when you would use IS to get out quick if your player is suspected of tanking. FI quickly recognise this situation and usually IS quickly becomes a very unattractive option due to the spread. Personally I always try to predict a players top price and sell as near to this to market whilst still rising. I find it hard due to FOMO and it invariably happens and I see a player rise another 10/20% after I've sold. Just ask yourself why you are selling and are you happy with the price, otherwise sitting tight is more often the correct solution.
They shouldn't be allow because if they are aware of a transfer in advance they could pump that player. They also have the ability to influence the media by dropping comments in interviews or on social media. Not aware if that cannot specifically use FI but interesting question
That would be interesting. Assuming you would need to auction them off at the start. It would probably work but there would be less trading than now I think and it would probably generate less money for FI.
Would be interesting to see what prices some players would go for.
1: check you have money to withdraw in the Balance section
2: Check you aren't trying to withdraw money from the dividends section.
3: Write strongly worded letter to your MP or FI if steps 1 and 2 don't help.
