Where next for Andre Silva?
-
Just 23 years old with 2 years left on his Milan contract but seems likely to move on, maybe loan with an option to buy? Was loaned to Sevilla last year & season fizzled out 9/27 after a bright start but had 21/42 for Porto (16/17 Season) & starts for Portugal with CR7 with 10/20.
Clearly the lad is a goalscorer that needs a home & perhaps a manager who can coax the best out of him. Recently linked with West Ham, Wolves & Soton but could also suit Everton, Villa or Newcastle with probably a £20m price tag would prove to be a no brainer if he did perform in the EPL. It looks like a fairly low risk gamble for what could be a bargain buy striker, surely a club will take a punt for that sort of money?
Fairly stable price wise & currently only 74p having peaked at 114p early last season, having hit a 60p low. Looks a safe index 3 year hold given his age & one that could rise significantly if he secured a move & performed to his ability. What am I missing?

Been linked with couple of prem teams. Wolves have strong connection with Portuguese players so could be an option. Watched clips of him and he does look decent just needs to settle somewhere and be given a good run-in. He was flying when first went to Sevilla
-
Agree the right move could catapult him. I'd like to see him at Wolves and given his age/nationality if he performs well I could see him around Jota's price bracket(1.30) in a few months, which wouldn't be far off double your money. Would have thought he'd be a cheap option for a mid table side and the rumours suggest interest from EPL.
-
I think Wolves sounds an option because of the Portuguese link, should definitely help him settle in quick.
Think Everton are crying out for a goalscorer. Crystal Palace too. I think he would be a good signing for either of them. Another left field shout would be Monaco? Dunno why just think again, could be a type of player they need if he's available for a good price.
-
Apparently Milan might give him another chance as they paid so much but Cutrone been doing well for them. Someone like Everton could do with him. Would be nice having Richarlison / Sigurdson / Lookman supplying you. Also just noticed Lookmans price. Good value @ 96p and he was getting played end of last season as Silva blocked a loan move for him so should get decent game time this year.

@FairlyNewUser
Lookman, I hope so but im not convinced, he may need to leave and prove a point
-
@kaka8 When he went to German for RB, he tore it up and scored a wonder goal on debut. I reckon Silva will play him a lot more this season and think he do a real job for them and be pushing for England spot
-
@FairlyNewUser there is talk that RB is taking another try at signing Lookman again. 20m Euro is the talk
-
@Antierror Not surprised, everyone looking for the next Sancho aren't they
-
@FairlyNewUser they surely are. Munich has poached 2 German nationals from Chelsea youth and I believe that another Chelsea youngster Taylor-Crossdale was linked to Hoffenheim
