The Great Pogba Price Plummet.

  • @janner73 said in The Great Pogba Price Plummet.:

@kristiang85 Every morning the Express has 3 or 4 Pogba articles and they nearly always contradict - just click bait. Nobody outside of Utd really knows what's happening and the media just confuse it more :)

You know damn well that there is a group of FI traders who work for the Express and have Pogba-heavy portfolios.

And I say to them "play on Macduff!" πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚

  • From Gabriele Marcotti at ESPN

Marcotti: "What I've been told, is that Pogba is not desperately itching for a move. He wants a resolution, a way forward. Either a new contract and commitment from the club about the squad, or if there is an offer out there and it works, moving elsewhere." #mufc [ESPN]

I'm now 80% sure he will stay.

  • @kristiang85 why do you take Marcotti's word over Raiola's?

  • @Hotspur said in The Great Pogba Price Plummet.:

@kristiang85 why do you take Marcotti's word over Raiola's?

Because Raiola is one of the most slippery characters in football.

And what he says is what I've personally believed from the start of this whole saga - yes, maybe a bit of confirmation bias, but why would a journalist say the most boring thing will happen when its his job to get clicks? He must be pretty sure.

  • @kristiang85 fair enough. Pogba himself though has said he wants to leave. Can't see him signing a new contract as Marcotti suggests. United are a mess and Pogba knows he can do better.

No I agree he won't get a new contract, and I think he'll be off next summer, but my money is on him being a Man U player for the coming season.

Bookies now offering 2/1 he is a Utd player come September, I've hedged my bets and sold up half my stake this morning. I may miss out on further cap app and for certain on Media Divs but its less of a concern now!

  • OGS saying Pogba is a "great professional" and has "always given his best" is clearly not true and quite frankly an embarrassing thing to say.

What's he going to say tomorrow - "the Pope is not Catholic".

  • I’m selling all my pogba, he’s a fucking let down, looks like he’s only going to get a penny in divs today.
    Waster.
Doom doom doom. Sell sell sell.

  • Pogba one of the United players modeling the new away kit, yet no Lukaku?

    Hmmm

    Couldn't find one that fits.

  • @Jimbob hahahaha

  • Just checked my transactions for the week - nice sight to behold πŸ˜ƒ...

In a portfolio of only 22 players, sweet Paul has been the one this week pulling in the divs 😎

  • And he's in a good position to go top again. Media rankings today just highlight the power of Manchester Utd on FI. Play meaningless game on the other side of the world... Fill up all the top 5.

  • @ScouseSte

This is the bit where I'd be tempted to get out again.

I mean... he's gonna keep getting those precious divs and there's 3 weeks until the deadline but I feel like even if (and again I state.... EVEN IF)... he's staying there's probably another dip coming before he truly rockets and that curve in the graph is interestingly similar to the last one and the one before it. I mean.. with the amount of divs he's been getting.... why isn't it a straight line...

  • Obviously the rollercoaster will continue and another big drop once the first concrete official bid/transfer request story comes out. Must be costly for those who have sold up off the back of nothing stories. He's going nowhere though and has absolutely racked up the divs since Uniteds season ended. Long may it continue. :)

I'm more inclined to look at the 3 month graph and say there is alot of room for growth of he stays!!! If he goes there might be a slight dip initially but not much. He will still rack up attention and MB.
Each to there own I guess but I will continue to hold.

To be honest Dan, I looked at Pogba's graph you posted and it told me one thing really. ... it's one big "W", a "W" for "Winning dividends" πŸ˜‰

And that's the reason myself and many many others are going to hold for the duration of our 3-year bet / investment, regardless of whether he stays or leaves πŸ˜ŽπŸ’°

  • @Cadbury1

Nah, I got out just before his peak. Then last week I told Ste if I had floating cash I'd have jumped back on for a short term run, because shots of him playing at United would cause a spike, that was at the bottom, so getting back out this morning at Market Value would have meant decent profits.

interestingly his price (Β£7.12) has been flat since I made the post but it is Sunday in the off season.

This tour has potential to see him keep growing but it could go the other way. There's a lot of nervousness around him and we're getting closer to the point where it either becomes crystal clear that he's staying or going.

When the mighty Leeds United, tip Man Utd over on Wednesday, Pogba will throw his toys out.

Can you tell me the lottery numbers for Saturday please? Your predictions are spot on...
