Messi or Rashford
-
new to this and im debating who to put a 100 shares into , would appreciate your opinions ?
the goat or an young Englishmen with loads of potential im not lookin for a 3 year bet more like 3 months - 12 months bet depending how its going
-
Neal Maupay 95p. Premier league bound. Great striker.
-
Rashford for me, Messi will probably win more dividends but likely lose value over 3 years given his age, I think it's likely Rashford will earn a good amount of dividends in 3 years (has most of players under 26) and increase in value.
-
Rashford... Messi wins more divs but won't make a lot of capital appreciation. Rashford becoming a good div earner and has plenty of growth to come.
-
@DannyC93 rashford is the safer option in terms of capital appreciation but Messi will win you both MB and PB. Will the winning of the dividends outweigh the loss in capital appreciation or will the growth of the index allow you to possibly sell at a profit or break even plus dividends. I have both so doesn't bother me as I'm willing to throw the 🎲. The choice is yours!

Easily Messi he yielded £2.70 last season, which he will be expected to get near the same again this season.
I dont expect him to fall in the next 12 months, expect him to increase with people wanting to pick up divs and the increase in new players, I personally think hes undervalued. But let's say he dropped 50p in value that's still £2.20 profit per share.
I cant see Rachford getting close to that even putting growth and Divs together.
A 3 year hold is a different argument mind
-
Both. Why pick just one of them?
-
@Tikka-Mo-Salah Messi yielded £2.70 in dividends last season? You'll be claiming Liverpool have won the premier league next. Surely that's incorrect, are you including pre split dividend amounts.
-
@Nally Was waiting for someone to let me know I did it wrong lol. I was even going to post on my previous comment 'however I'm sure someone will say Ive done the math wrong' but thought i would be brave.
Just went off Football Index Scout, does that not take into count the SS?
-
Messi 100% his value will increase as he earns dividends whereas Rashford will increase in value but only as the index grows. If you dont want to go with Messi id be consider more than just Rashford as and alternative. I hold both but Rashfords more a gamble that he develops into the player we all want him to be. Messi returns Dividends and yes hes over 30 but he’ll be playing for years yet and woll earn dividends as long as he’s eligible
-
Think I've just done my first ever down vote on here, I fuckin hate when people are asking specifically about a player or 2 or three and someone just pumps their own player who's got absolutely fuck all to do with it
-
@Nally said in Messi or Rashford:

£2.20 last season
25xPB=0.86p
81xMB=£1.34Edit: sorry thats all time
-
@Tikka-Mo-Salah yeah I wish they'd update it, can't complain too much since it's free. The leader board doesn't do justice to players who have earned a shit load of dividends since the share split like Pogba, he's still top by far mind.
-
@Tikka-Mo-Salah index gain does as it shows MB wins pre split date as 1.67p
-
@Nally i got fed up of that FIS one its just not smooth enough to be user friendly i just upraded my index gain to the premium and it quality once you get the hang of the buzz bot commands
-
I signed up to the premium yesterday but still havent had time to suss it all out yet cos I've been to busy with the cricket and the f1 but I'll have a play about with it at work tomorrow
-
@MickTurbo haha absolutely. I got there first
-
@MickTurbo make sure you assign all your players for portfolio tracking its so handy. It alerts you of any major movements within your port as they happen
-
Rashford- more room to grow...once the season gets going him and Kane are going to shoot up i think...especially if they start on form. England 2020 build up all year.
-
@Black-wolf nice one, I should be able to get to grips with it tomorrow and I will do that cheers
