What happens if a player dies or gets an injury that means he can't play anymore?

Just out of interest?

@Tom7471 People sell quick then FI will typically widen the spread/ disable IS.
We had the Emiliano Sala tragedy last season which saw IS disabled once it was clear what had happened.
There's also retirements - see Arjen Robben with a Β£0.00 IS price.
Always worth remembering these are bets and FI have no obligation to buy shares back from us which is why its good to have a diversified portolio.

@Tom7471 thatβs worst case scenario and as you know extremely rare. Extremely low risk betting and your one bet lasts 3 years.
You could always cover ur bet though at a bookies with a bet a player will die or retire this season via injury if they take those kind of bets π

@Tom7471 You done your bollocks ππ

Did anyone have any shares in Emiliano Sala? What happened then...

I believe they paid out his value but it was a one-off and not one I think will be repeated.

I think they probably would pay out again if a player died. Obviously it won't happen a lot so can afford the goodwill gesture and it's bad PR for the company to be seen to be profiting from tragedy.
Career ending injury is another matter. I think it's just the luck of the draw and you'd lose out on that one.

Thanks guys. Just interested. I'm not big on diversifying normally but on this platform with injuries and deaths it makes more sense.
