Not really a biggy for me!!!!!!!! Perhaps if Giggs went with a David Brooks, Harry Wilson or Daniel James for skipper it might have got a bit more deserved 'media time' but i'm starting to feel everyone including the media is a little sick and tired of Gareth Bale????

@NewUser5849 It's a reader bias. More readers would be interested in England news so there's no reason for the mdedia to give it equal coverage.

Officially temporary captain as Ash hasn’t got a team and isn’t in the squad. Ash will be back in the squad for October i’m sure. But you’d think he gets it permanantly probs after the euro qual campaign.
Would prefer Joe Allen or Ben Davies to be captain personnally but oh well

Do you really expect Bale being made temp captain to generate the same media as a new England captain ?
Bale's situation at Madrid has been in the media a lot, so its no bias against him. Its just the temporary captaincy of Wales, in a non-international week, isnt big news
