The "withdraw profits" is something I've yet to do and I agree with you, it is a very important factor that I bet not many of us consider.
I've only got a small portfolio though so I need every penny in right now to help it grow.
If I reach over the 5k level then I might start chipping away but that won't be for over a year or so.

IMO everyone has a different ‘risk’ so there’s no 1 strategy for all
I like to have a large portfolio ..reason being in the past I’ve sold lots of players to get on others & ultimately bought back in 50p more than soldI’m hoping someone more intelligent can give me some % on these figures

@Friedeggs bosed on net deposits against port value and available cash you're about 88% up. But obviously u may made big deposits/withdrawals very recently which would hugely skew your IRR but yeh on the figures available, basically 88% profit, nice work
