Where do we see the value there then?
City and Chelsea standouts for me, with SLB an opportunity for some potential growth if they can make the most of it.
Group A: Paris St-Germain, Real Madrid, Club Bruges, Galatasaray
Group B: Bayern Munich, Tottenham, Olympiakos, Red Star Belgrade
Group C: Manchester City, Shakhtar Donetsk, Dinamo Zagreb, Atalanta
Group D: Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Lokomotiv Moscow
Group E: Liverpool, Napoli, Salzburg, Genk
Group F: Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, Slavia Prague
Group G: Zenit St Petersburg, Benfica, Lyon, RB Leipzig
Group H: Chelsea, Ajax, Valencia, Lille

Atalanta look like they’ve a good chance to get 2nd. Could be high scoring games for them (i hold Mario Pasalic).
-
Thing is though, unless you’re talking the top, top teams you wanna come third.
-
for fi purposes
-
@Timothee-Atouba ooooh that's a great point!
-
Really think Lyon could have a good run this year, draw has helped them too
-
Good one for LIEPZIG. They could win that group.
-
One of the first things to strike me is Man City’s handpicked cakewalk. We are talking games for a young Philip Foden for sure. Also hoping he starts Saturday, Brighton at home.
-
Leipzig and Lyon will both feel that's a great draw for them respectively. Great opportunity for some of thier players to grow in stature and value.
Also think Dortmund have a good chance to show they can be the team to fear in a strong group.
-
@Tom77 Werner to make his claim for his summer move! 😉

Man City have been outrageously lucky with cup draws since the start of last season. Easy Champions League groups, easy domestic cup draws including Burton in a two leg semi (Also has a team ever had such an easy route to winning the FA Cup?), not to mention that they got to play all six promoted teams from the previous two seasons in consecutive weeks from Gameweek Two to Gameweek Seven last season in the Premier League to give them the opportunity to get off to a flyer. Moan over!
-
Think the Chelsea group could be anybody’s. Not convinced yet by Chelsea and Ajax are unlikely to be the same this time round.
Atalanta, Lyon and Leipzig great chance of going deeper in Europe with their draws. Few bargains to be had potentially player wise.
-

That team will be broken up in the summer a fair few could leave imo.
-
Some predictable groups there but group H is wide open
-
Fancy valencia to get through and leipzig
-
Can someone explain- is it that payouts are multiplied for the champions league, or just the points?
-
RIP Slavia Prague
-
@CleanShirtTrader just their points.

That way a centre mid for Lecce is unlikely to win the treble match day divs on champs knockout nights for a series of backward and sideways passes in a league match against Parma!
-
@Boris999 - Still a lot of traveling that might impact their selections depending on their PL matches...
