Purchase Price

If I buy shares in the same player at different times for different prices why does my portfolio not reflect that? It only shows the original purchase price. Thanks

It’s just a rough calculation rounded up or down to the nearest penny and quite inaccurate. At one time I used to use a calculator to work out the amount to get best costings however it only real way of getting a real total is in the transaction history spreadsheet. If you buy Neymar at 10 x £9 and 10 x £10 he will cost £9.50 Total each but then use a obscure number purchase and will be rounded up or down to nearest penny

The portfolio should update to show the average price ... Can you give us the numbers involved (up to you if you want to mention the player too) to see if we can work out what's happened?

@BL__FI Thanks, I get it now, there was only 1p difference in my two purchases so its the rounding thing. Sorry, new user so just getting a feel

@NewUser125366 Cool, no worries glad you got it figured out!

If you buy two sets of shares in the same player 6months apart. Then you sell some after another year... Do they automatically sell the earliest bought ones first?

@JohnRenwick yes
