So as many will know, a week ago, I decided to ditch my strategy which was centred around holding mainly top 50 ranked players only - I put the portfolio in the sell queue and hit "time out" for a month.
And then today's announcement happens!
DEVASTATED!!
I've had my shares in the queue since 2nd Oct, so when the announcement happened I assumed mine would be snapped up first at the rock bottom price 😭😭
A few of my players in good profit had already sold this week (Sterling, Ronaldo) but, as of this morning before the announcement, I still held big names that have fallen hard (Pogba, Hazard, Salah) 😱.
HOWEVER...
I can still view my port and transactions, even though I'm timed out and I tell ya what....I've had a bloody lucky escape!!...
These first two sales were near their bottom prices when sold but luckily only half my Hazard holding has gone so far!
VVD sold at £2.60 (currently only £2.65 now)
Hazard sold at £4.00 (currently £4.07)
Then...
Pogba sold at £6.06 (currently only £6.10 now) Big loss avoided 😅
Salah sold at £4.46 (currently £4.47). Perfect!
So I'm still timed out and I've got a lot more money from my sales than anticipated, ready to reinvest come 2nd November 😉

Yea it's evident there must have been A LOT of shares in the big boys in the queue. Im glad because it means other traders have also gotten good returns rather than instant selling 👍🏻.
I've been very lucky - getting these kind of returns was best case scenario, in fact even better than what I expected!

No mate I'm genuinely happy being restricted right now. I'm sure if I emailed i could get the timeout revoked, unlike self exclusion which deffo has no way to be reversed. But no, I'm happy just keeping a watchful eye on things for now 👀.
One idea that is hanging around in my head though is only invest in ONE PLAYER at any one time, hold for 30 days and then move on to the next. Only a thought though haha! Very risky (but could be fun!!)
