Another Class Moutinho Performance
-
After 3 big scores in November, (including a gold day PB win), he's followed it up with another great performance tonight.
Looks like he's hitting his stride and given that he only signed a new 3 year contract last week and he's playing almost every minute, hopefully we can see some decent growth. Wolves have 8 games between now and January 4th. He picked up an assist tonight, so might not be the worst time to get in for those who are thinking about it.
-
Glad you got on board after I tipped him in your Henderson thread.
-
I honestly can't remember what drew my eye to him, it might have been you and for that I say thanks for the heads up.
Feel free to throw out some more cheapies worth looking at :)
-
Is he playing for Portugal? I remember so..
-
cheers to whoever mentioned denis the menace at 60p
-
I loaded up on him 2 games ago, EL football, The Euros and will still be playing through the winter break - at his price, for those scores, it's a no brainer, his age may go against him but you can't not lol
-
Class player, first name on the team-sheet for us. He's 33 now and phenomenal makes me wonder how good he was at his peak, his energy levels, tackling, passing and set piece delivery are on another level.
He's in and out of the Portuguese starting XI but will feature in the Euros.
-
Absolute bargain - even after his recent rise.
He'll win top midfielder at least once more this season and if Wolves go far in the Europa League he could be a gold-mine in the later rounds. Despite his age, he's recently signed a new contract so no retirement risk for the foreseeable future. The biggest risk I can see is an injury, where age may become a factor if it was a serious one.
-
Yeah, I'm hoping he's one of those Ryan Giggs type chaps who plays until he's 40.
Hard to say for sure but I doubt Wolves would have given him a 3 year contract if they thought he was likely to miss many games mind.
-
@Dan-The-Man Well the new contract goes until 2022 so even if he just played that out that's this season and another 2 for a 72p player that is great for PB and is fairly regularly in contention. Every chance Wolves will be in Europe again next season in my opinion so plenty of dividend opportunities.
-
The way he plays, you wouldn't think he was 33. He has such an engine on him, can see him going on at this level for another 2-3 seasons. A proper professional who looks after himself.

@Dan-The-Man
Looks like wracking up another impressive score today - 116 at HT while losing 1-0!
-
@janner73 That's an insane score for half-time. Could win top midfielder at this rate being on the losing side!
-
@Ben_pz It's impressive - if he gets 200 plus on a losing team he'll get noticed - already risen based on his half-time score.
-
178 on a losing team without a goal or assist is π₯π₯π₯
-
Best player i've ever seen in a Old Gold n Black shirt.
-
Against a usually dominant spurs midfield too. Fair play
-
@9stevo With a Yellow card on top
-
@Ben_pz good point I noticed heβd got booked but forgot that it would cost him PB points.
-
Europa league draw moments away, I honestly think Wolves can go deep in this comp. Played Tottenham off the park yesterday.
