Henrichs to leipzig

This is an interesting move, listed as a right back but regularly plays midfield, never really got going fully at Monaco but was rated highly as was sort after from plenty of clubs when at Leverkusen, he should make a good case to get back into the Germany squad. Only 22 and 64p. Will easily be a £1 plus player by the end of January

Good move for holders. Champions League football and he's going back to his home country. Should settle in nicely. Leipzig are an exciting team these days

Has held above 55p even while not playing for Monaco.

@MUFC Thought this was a strange one - Leipzig are loaded at full-back and in midfield. Do you think they'll be selling to make way for Henrichs or who do you see him replacing?

@janner73 I would imagine they would have to when you look at there squad, it's ridiculous. Probably one of the best squads in Europe imo

Must be selling someone, but this is a great buy I bought in a few weeks ago.

@MUFC Exactly was trying to make sense of where Henrichs fits.
He's a great hold if he can nail down a place in the team but it's not immediately obvious where he fits.

@janner73 I think 20 million is a big spend for them so I would think he plays. They are going for the league and think they could be dark horse for the champs league

@MUFC True but they spent 18 million Euros on Lookman and he can't get in the team. Think I'd want to wait and see first given their squad - although he's a pretty cheap punt at the price.

Apparently Saracchi wants to leave the club which would then leave room for Henrichs. Can't find the original article reporting this but people are using Kicker as their source. Which doesn't mean much to me.

I think they could have central midfield in mind for him - which would make him more valuable.
With Klostermann and Mukiele they're very well covered down the right side.

@JK Even in central midfield they have Laimer, Demme, Kampl, Haidara and whoever else I've missed lol! It's a seriously big squad - although if he does get in that midfield while listed as a defender then his PB potential would be extremely good.

Crazy squad. And a good manager. I think they'll win the league.
Kampl and Haidara seem to be back up players though, and maybe he could push Demme or Laimer out of the team.
I'd also say though that his versatility might be driving Leipzig's willingness to pay such a big fee. They'll be certain he'll get playing time in some position at some point and might not necessarily have a position in mind for him straightaway.

Been looking through loads of tweets and lots saying he is a very flexible player, could end up as anything and at 22 still young to be moulded.

Tyler Adams is an excellent DM that they have as well if he can shake his injury problems

I think with a Leipzig move and playing well he makes the Germany squad if not team for the euros, could have great pb potential as well being listed as a defender and playing full back or midfield. It never really happened for him at Monaco for whatever reason but you could see from his Leverkusen days and the teams interested he is a massive talent

Henrichs not included in the squad for tomorrow's game, apparently has "low back pain". Seems very timely

Apparently Bayern in the running now to play him at right back, move pavard to centre and kimmich to defensive midfield, would be huge pb player if this comes off
