@The-FIG new territories! That's exciting!!!!
-
Pb matrix not getting fucked is great news (for most)
-
@Vespasian32 He also said to @Ericali, that there didnt seem to be much clamour to change it either.

Yeh, it's static this season.
He said if it was going to change it would be done in the off-season.

Yes working fine as is everybody buying players based on current system, only slight tweek. GK more pts a save make more competitive.
-
@Dan-w Very. Although I don't fancy becoming a Polyglot and translating my podcasts hahahahaha

Another summary of points from one of the guys on twitter 👍

Wow didnt see it but going by the summary 2020 is going to be huge. Looking forward to new territories(maybe Andy M will make a return) and the implementation of Nasdaq system
-
@The-FIG what was the celeb index all about? Useless at following conversations on twitter.
-
@The-FIG most interesting to me was the many tweets about the huge spreads on IPD players (players under £1). He seemed to acknowledge this and say it will be addressed. Could we see another shift in the market?
-
@Metropolis I think he’s talking about other sports.
Celeb index - context is needed. Adam’s original idea was actually ‘celebrity index’ but it didn’t take off!
Football did ;)
-
@Metropolis yeh the spreads lack consistency.
For me I can’t see anything other than a macro trend which is a rise in dividend winners, due to the big price to dividend ratio change.
Also, some of the price ratios are massively off. £6 players double a £3 player who will win 1/20th of the dividends.
Not hard to see where the money will go! (Imo)
-
@The-FIG if he ever did a Celebrity index my wife would be amazing at it. Hope it comes about one day if i can get her to stop spending all her money on shoes and bags and start saving a little up in preparation for this

Can’t say I found anything too informative from the Q&A. Appreciate that he managed to answer a large amount of questions in a short amount of time but it didn’t reveal much with such short answers.
Someone asked a question that has bugged me for a while regarding new media outlets being added to entice new territories, could probably write an essay on pros and cons of that, and the answer ‘more than one way to skin a cat’ doesn’t put my mind at rest!
Great that he took the time and had a shot a so many questions being fired so quickly though.

What’s a Nasdaq platform?
-
@Woody FI got Nasdaq(2nd biggest stock exchange) to come on board and help develop the FI product and technology behind it. They have been pretty quiet about it since the the announced they had came on board but at least now we know their improvements will be implemented soon. Could mean some substantial upgrades

That Nasdaq☺️ I thought it meant something else.
Looks an interesting 6 months coming up.

I didn't follow anything tonight but thanks for all the key points. It could be a massive 2020 by the looks of it. Was there any clues on what areas they may break into?
