Can't see anything obvious.
He has had quite a decline since his peak so maybe the thinking is he is due a rise. Someone buys a fair bit and it snowballs.
Then he's also bang on form. 2 goals and 2 assists in the last 4 games.
Van Bommel was given the boot by PSV yesterday. Maybe a factor.
Declared for the Dutch national team recently another positive.
Then it might be just cos he looks absolute class for a 17 year old.

Wondered this myself. Havent seen any transfer links, but I'm not super active on Twitter so could have missed something on there.
Maybe people think hes gonna get a Dutch call up with their recent injuries to Malen and Depay, but to my knowledge he is a midfielder not a forward. Surely Stengs/ Weghorst / Boadu would be the most obvious replacements in Euros squad if neither Malen or Depay go to the Euros 🤷♂️
