Sheffield United discuss movement...fucking shocking game.

just out of curiosity, what would joining the sell queue at 79p for 300 shares do to the price? or putting 5 x 300 up for sale do?

It's about 900 futures per penny... So listing 1500 would knock Β£18 off of Henderson's profit, leaving him Β£231 up on Neymar. At this point, I could instant sell the Henderson's and still have made a lot more money than the Neymar bet but there's a long time for Henderson to keep growing.

looks like he has only ever broken 200 one other time and that was 7 dec 2019 when scored 269 away to bournemouth in 3-0 win, which included an assist

So he's broke 200 twice in a month... sign of form, hitting at the time of the season where he's likely to play a lot of midweek games?

  • @Dan-The-Man fair point and so far if you sold today you would have made more money as of now. The point you're trying to prove though is it simply Henderson is a better buy than Neymar or Lower end is a better buy vs Premium players?

Also if you joined today would you still buy Henderson at 0.79?

  • sign of form or a freak occurence, i guess that is what we are all doing everyday when trying to work out what players are undervalued

for me, is henderson a blue chip company where his price should be more related to fundamentals, or is he more an AIM penny stock where his price will always be far more open to fluctuation because penny stocks are valued like that

i would say he falls in between, and to be honest, i dont see why hendersons price should be much different to fabinho and wijnaldum, i put him in that category, so whether they are underpriced too...

This is gonna sound like BS but my goal isn't to prove one way or the other... it's to learn the META. Don't get me wrong, I'm over the moon that I was right about Henderson (especially given the grief I got for it ha) but if I had been wrong, I'd have learned from it.

If you look back at my posts, you'll see I've spent the last 12 months trying lots of different tactics.

    • Injury tactic (Kane)
    • Transfer Pattern (Pulisic/Rooney)
    • Graph Pattern Analysing (Fred)
    • Low End (Manquillo)
    • FM Database (Morutan)
    • Lower League (Maupay, Lee Jae-Sung, Kleindienst)
    • Transfer Speculation (Bale, Higuain, Maguire)
    • Reliable Dividends (Pogba, Van Dyke)
    • Future Stars (Jack Clarke, Greenwood, Rodrygo, Chong)
    • Market Drivers, ie Euro's + Champions League (Henderson)
    • Cheap Dividend Winners (Moutinho, Henderson, Alonso)
    • Cheap Penalty Takers (Noble)
    • Work Horses (Firmino)
    • Goal Scorers (Aubameyang, Cavani)
    • Breakout Stars (McTominay)
    • England Abroad (Ronaldo Vieira)
    • World Class (Sterling, Henderson...)
    • Most Passes (Laporte)
    • Early Fixtures (Pukki)
    • Forum Pick (Nico Schulz)
    • Buying 'Almost' Div Winners (Hassane Kamara)
    • Man Utd Youth (Greenwood, McTominay, Dalot, Chong)
    • Legends From A Far (Mehdi Taremi, Lee Jae-Sung)
    • Disgruntled Employees (Sanchez, Bale, Pogba, Arnautovic)

At one point, someone was regularly pumping and dumping Oh Ban-suk, so I waited until they dumped him then bought a bunch, hoping for them to pump him again... it worked... sort of... I'm going to be looking at Corner Kicks and Set Pieces next.

I'm trying to narrow in on what the absolute best tactic is. Neymar vs Henderson has helped rule out the top of the market. Pogba vs Pulisic had already persuaded me of that but this was another opportunity to test it out in real terms (and make a tidy packet).

Also if you joined today would you still buy Henderson at 0.79?

    Yes.

The market drivers are good for Henderson. Liverpool are the most dominant club on the planet at the minute and he's the captain, who just won PB. He will win PB again of this I have no doubt but more importantly than PB, he will grow as Liverpool progress in the Champions League because he gets more and more mid week games with fewer competitors. The Champions League leads directly in to the Euros, where he's going to be at the heart of the team.

Also... I don't know if you've noticed this but in recent months, there's been growing support of Henderson. Van Dyke talked about how he's the most important player at the club, high profile pundits like Lineker have started piling on the praise. He has that under-dog vibe right now and my bet is that a group of FI's target market will eat that up. Plus, he's broke 200 PB, twice in the last month.

There is still plenty of time to go and as I mentioned any dividend increase will see money go straight into Neymar.

Again it's all down to when you buy in, it helps you with your research but someone buying Henderson against Neymar could get completely different results if bought today. They could easily see similar but it's all down to timing and patience

Also if you joined today would you still buy Henderson at 0.79?

Tbh with you taking Henderson out of the equation that whole paragraph made me feel a little sick simply because i hate liverpool πŸ˜‚

I know you said the research has helped you but for example I've made more money actually from Sterling than anyone else through Cap Ap and dividends so like you mines telling me different results πŸ€”. It made me buy into a few more big time players but I have a higher amount of players from the lower end. My main point is I dont think there is a rule I think it's mostly about research, pumping πŸ˜‚ and timing, also taking into the next 12 months.

When did you buy into Sterling?

  • @Dan-The-Man ooo that's a question, around Jan/Feb last year maybe

  • World Class (Sterling, Henderson...)

now that is a debate dan lol

  • @Marve

Would have been a couple of weeks ago... but right now... he's a World Champion!

    ;-)

  • Not to keep beating the Henderson drum but here's a little nugget from the Mirror's interview with Robertson about his crossing ability that could be of interest.

"Our midfielders like chipping in as well. Henderson's always running in at the back post and I try and find him - I haven't quite mastered that yet but me and him are working on it!"

    https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-ace-andy-robertson-explains-21243446

If it is a thing they are actively working on, perhaps we'll start seeing a few more assists/goals from Henderson, which could lead to improved PB/MB chances.

Of course, they might just sack it off as a bad job, but I quite enjoyed reading that and it can only be a positive thing.

  • @Dan-The-Man I think if ever there is a season to be holding Hendo, this is it, you can see the passion in him to win things before he starts slowing down. With Liverpool playing as they are, he must surely be in contention for an England place. If Kane isn't upto fitness, we will need a captain, and who better than the captain of the team that's most likely going to clean up this year! Big few months for Henderson, I picked a few up not so long ago.Very happy with my holding so far.

  • @Ole-ole

He's locked in to England, there's no way they don't play him given that he's just won the Champions League and he will have just won the Premiership and maybe even another Champions League as captain. Southgate would look crazy.

There'll be a few take some profit from time to time but ultimately if you look at every article about him lately, it's someone else saying he's one of the best in the world at his position and that belief is growing the longer Liverpool remain unbeatable.

  • Fabinho's return will not be a good thing for Henderson IMO. But is a good thing for Liverpool

  • @Dan-The-Man even if the crosses find him. He's still got to hit the target, let alone beat the keeper....🀣🀣🀣🀣

Lads... Sorry... I know I've done way too much talking about Henderson lately... but I think this is worth adding to the conversation... just because it could be important going forward.

Tonight after Henderson scored the header he was asked "How many goals have you scored with your head... I can't remember many".

His reply is the important part and it goes hand in and hand with the other nugget of info I posted a couple of weeks ago. (Hence bumping this thread).

Jordan Henderson: "That could be the first one.... to be fair... NORMALLY I'M PROTECTING ON CORNERS BUT RECENTLY I'VE BEEN GETTING IN THE BOX HAVEN'T I"

    (Here's the video clip) https://youtu.be/Np9HYCbvQfA?t=598

When you combine that shift from defensive... to attacking focus on corners, with what Andy Robertson said about working on finding him more often with crosses at the back post... and the fact that when Fabinho came on tonight, Henderson took on a more attacking role, ultimately getting the assist, which won the game. It could be a sign that we're going to see more out of him from a PB perspective as the season ticks on.

2 weeks ago, when I pointed this out.... @Dan-w made the fair comment that he'd still have to hit the target and beat the keeper... well tonight he showed he can do that... here's hoping he can show it a bit more often... Like say... Wednesday night against West Ham, when there's only 1 other game that night :)

  • @ChazFI123 incorrect, Fabinho's return free Hendo up to play further forward as Fab will come back in at 6.

  • @Dan-The-Man

Dan you're excited about what has turned out to be a great investment for you. It's allowed πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

  • Well done. Great shout, never saw it. Should have after Southampton last year when he showed what he was capable of.
