Whilst I like a laugh (and have been pulling a prank or two already today), if it is an april fools they have to be very careful it wont cause people to trade on the news, or else they could have big problems on their hands!

I know it was a joke... But FI should be more professional as they are actually 'taking bets' off of their prank with their punters having practically zero chance of winning.
Imagine William Hill offering 1000/1 odds for the favourite of the big race that day... Taking bets... Then saying it was a joke and keeping the money?

@Vespasian32 Yeah just seen a few bits go through.
FI will have to make them all financially right.This is one of them sad times when they are probably sat at FI-headquarters(or home) laughing about this when actually, it took about 30 seconds for us to foresee a problem :p

Yeah bloody idiots. I like a joke but they brand themselves loke a financial market but constantly fail to behave like one and are directly responsible for people losing money far too often
