how do you judge a "good" month?
-
hi........just wondering what everyone's target is each month? and how do you measure this?
dividends recieved?
portfolio growth?
ROI %age targets?
-
@NewUser115892 I have just one target and that's 1% month in dividends. Last month was my best month on the index 3.6% dividends and 8.2% growth
-
thanks noir. just out of interest, do you choose to re-invest your dividends or just withdraw and see it as "return banked"?
-
Again depends on strategy, if you're targeting dividends I guess its easier to gauge a steady return, so easy to calculate a figure you want to aim for. Where as I am all about finding value, and selling on when I think they have reached there true price, so a couple of weeks ago my profile barely moved while everyone else was raving about how much theres had gone up, (it can be hard to stick to your guns during periods like that and be tempted to swap things around) I expect little to slow growth for the next month maybe 2 as I have no Wc players only free transfers and players likely to attract a lot of transfer attention, so Post WC i expect a huge jump, which will level out my 2 slower months on the run up, the key is patience. Pogbo was a good example a week before and into international break, he returned nothing, final week he won every day, there will always be spikes and dips, If your confidant in your buys, have patience the rewards will come at some point. The worst thing you can do is chase profit or PB, selling one player to get on another to sell him to get on another, even the best PB players have droughts. hope that answers your question, might have drifted a bit off topic there though.

The index is on fire you should be reinvesting any profit its free cash. Take advantage of the lucky position we are in, growth couldnt be easer, with all the cash coming in now

@SMacFI I am and am £1,300 profit up in around 3 months.
-
@NewUser59855 generally you need to do this in percentage cos if you have 100k in that's not great if you have 1.5k that's amazing lol
-
@Noirx4 I've got £10,500 in.
-
@NewUser59855 almost 13% is pretty decent
-
@NewUser59855 good work mate

break it down to a percentage and i might be impressed, a random figure means nothing am afraid.
-
@SMacFI I meant money invested.
-
@SMacFI £10.5k all in and £1,300 profit from that in 3 months.
