It hotted up when he got called up to first team when Alba was injured, he made the bench twice but not the pitch. I sold up not far from peak then Alba came back and he went back to b team hence the drop.
I want to buy in again but was going to hold off to see if Barcelona off load umtiti and firpo and recruit from within or buy again in the window as per the link. Otherwise will have money tied up in a very slow trade.

@Dalian-Smith I've just bought back in. 1000 share. Yes hes not going to be first choice straight away but at 47p doesn't matter. My educated punt is that he makes the bench week in week out next season if not before. If he does that he should easily get to Firpos price of 80p who is older. Could easily be a 100% rise.

@Impulsesplurger It's a concern for me Barcelona are pursuing a left back. If I get assurances of first team la Liga football then I could be in at that price.

They also have a Brazilian LB called Emerson that they co bought with another La Liga club last season. Talk of him being bought outright by Barca in the summer

To be honest the bar is quite high to be in the Barcelona squad and Akiemes record of third tier football doesn't look all that. The fact multiple news sources are suggesting Barca are looking for a left back worries me. There's money to be made in this left back issue but I think akieme is a big ol' long shot.

@Dalian-Smith I think its an educated gamble. He was playing first team football at Rayo Vallecano and Barcelona snapped him up. They've called him up to the first team this season already and the talk from inside is hes highly thought of and is expected to get 1st team football next season. 48p 21yr old left back at Barca. He doesnt need to be the next Jordi Alba at that price to make a nice % profit.

@Gregolocky maybe, theres going to be speculation and paper talk. Sells more papers than saying Barcelona are going to promote the left back none of you have heard of

@Dalian-Smith will just have to wait and see. If he doesnt get his chance he likely goes on loan or is sold to a la liga team where he gets regular football.

I have actually seen him live playing for Barca B and he was their standout player. He will end up either on the bench for the first team or he could go on loan/transfer to a team in serie a or ligue 1. Either way, you cant really argue that he doesn't look like a very cheap, low risk bet that could pay off massively...
