You might've seen this doing the rounds on twitter, Best 11 that has been around in your life time, can only use 1 player from a club/country. Managed to come up with them but having Messi and Ronaldo really made it hard.

I thought this was a nationality thing.
It can’t be clubs. As soon as you pick CR7 nearly all the greats are out.

Jesus wept! A lot of people having a go at this without bothering with the rules it seems. Bunch of animals. No club or country can be represented more than once, even if the players weren't playing for said club/country at the same time. For me that's why Ronaldo misses out, I'd rather have someone from Man U, Juve and Real ideally.
My team;

Did have Robbie Carlos left back and Maldini in the middle until I realised he played for Inter so clashed with Godin and I couldn't think of another top centre back. Don't think there are any issues with this team but stand to be corrected.
