How do players share prices go up?
-
Like goals/assists/appearances or just how they play in general?
-
Supply and demand. In simplest terms, every 100 futures net bought equates to a 1p increase. Absolutely nothing to do with how they play, although this obviously impacts the demand for a player

I sold 100 x kruse at 56p and he didnt go down!!! I think the 100 is incorrect i think the rangę is 50 to 200 dependent on market conditions.

@Chicken-Badge maybe cos someone bought them off of u it stayed?? Not sure how it works really
-
@LG the 1p for 100 players is not fully true i asked the FI tech guy about this at the meet. Sometimes a lot more sometimes a lot less depends on price and market forces but in the absence of any actual math 1p per 100 seems to be a reasonable yard stick

@Noirx4 Yes, I remember it being said.

No I sold IS not to market unless someone bought at exactly same time but just bought him back at 47 so well happy

Since I joined around 3 weeks ago, it seems a lot of player prices go up in the lead up to their game then drop near the end and co tonite to drop slightly over the next week, then the whole cycle starts again. Is this normal for a lot of players or is it just my select few? (A couple of my players aren’t doing it but I thought it was interesting that a few have done the same thing every week)
-
@FranklynMary people trading around expected pb. Very normal. If you're a long term holder, don't panic- learn to recognise it for what it is, and that your player will (usually) return to normal.

@CleanShirtTrader
Yeah for sure, just surprised it fluctuates so much. Like people bought some, sold them but buy next week to sell again and so on and so on. Trying to judge my players realistic value and at what point they might drop again. Good learning experience though
