Andy was all about his country getting banned and that is why he left. Not sure why the others aren't about.
People like Misto were top dogs around here when I joined FI.

I believe Misto stepped back after getting involved with a house extension and a new addition to their family.

When I first joined the forum a couple of years ago I was quite active but the size of it was miniscule compared to today. By the time I sift through and read most(not all) of the posts I'm too knackered to write anything ha. The forum has grown in line with the footie, so all good. I do miss mwerdna and agreed with Elisandro...still laughing at Alan wank Biscuits :)
EDIT* Also had a hell of a lot of bother when switched to beta site, couldn't access forum for ages and got pissed off in the process.

@Weedster I just use the 'unread' button. skim through topics, read the posts i want to then hit 'mark all as read'

@Weedster i know i used to go to bed and catch up on every single thread in about 15 minutes and be looking for more to read, no way i could do that now i probably only look at 20% of threads per day now. I actually used to think the market shut at 10pm back then as there was zero activity after that time

Misto did a load of good stuff on the forum. 'All things football index' is his legacy and I'm sure it's helped loads of people out.
I also enjoyed LuaLua and Janner's posts. Both were posters I would stop and read when scrolling through a long thread. Shame neither are about now, as they both provided good discussion and well thought out posts.
Ellisandro was funny. Can't remember ever reading a serious post from him.
Andy M was one of the biggest drama queens the internet has seen. Must have been a big blow to him that Sweden got shunted, FI must have been a massive part of his life given the amount he used to be on here. Just hope he's alright I suppose.

Remember Ellisandro saying he was selling up to invest in something else, didn't say what the something else was. Not sure if he completely sold up, but remember him asking about how best to market sell. Think this was around time he ended up on live podcast.
LuaLua is still on Twitter @slipsnflips. not sure if still on FI.
and wherever @Misto is, hope he is very well!
As an aside, I think there was a problem a few months ago now with people being able to log on to the forum. Not sure exactly what the issue was, but probably something about them messing around with the website or app. Think a few people just gave up on here then.

Having recently just got back in, Iโve also noticed the absence of some of the โold gangโ. Andy was a good guy, ultra sensitive tho, and took the bait every time. Ellisandro was king of the shit talk. Once in a while he was pretty funny.
Misto is the one that is missed tho. He rarely pumped, or got involved in spats and was a force for good on the Index. He would bang on about how when he first went on the forum he would get excited if there was 1 new post! Otherwise he felt very lonely, like Tom hanks in castaway, and was probably answers his own questions.
