Good time to go for Newcastle players?
Sky seem to think new owners want Poch? Is it gunna happen?
-
No way, Poch is destined for better things

The take over looks pretty much nailed on or so it's been reported. However in terms of existing Newcastle players and their value or potential value in the future its hard to find more than a few worth looking at from a FI angle. If the investment comes then the new blood would push out the weaker players to lesser teams than Newcastle. So maybe look at Longstaff brothers, Almiron perhaps? The only nailed on good one has to be Saint Maxamin. Couple of decent ones in defense but not good FI picks IMO.

@Puddle
Okay thanks

@Archer22 I agree with you on the face of it but when you look deeper where is he going to go?
Man Utd, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool even Leicester are happy with their managers at the moment and won’t be spending unnecessary cash on replacing them. Not sure Real Madrid, baca or Munich will change manager this summer either. PSG could be a possibility but after that it just leaves him with the best from the rest.
With new owners and plenty of investment, Newcastle might be a decent option for him this summer, unless he waits for a different opportunity.

As stated Saint Maximin is the one with potential to fly!

I've not been following that closely but why do people think this one is more likely than the last 3 or 4 that have nearly happened?
-
@Wynnston the last 3 or 4 attempts to buy Newcastle fell away when they either failed to agree a price or did not come up with the money that was agreed. No other takeover attempt actually got to the premier leagues owners test. This one seems different as they have agreed a price, paid a deposit and it looks like the prem are about to sign it off. Ashley seems ready to sell and by all accounts it looks like it will be done with in a week or 2 if not sooner.
-
@Archer22 Better things? I have no words.

Agree with this. Don't think new manager will do much with rest of the squad other than replace it. Maybe Jetro if he comes back but depends if better player can be brought in. New gaffer might fancy Joelinton, but depends what damage has already been done to the lads confidence.

This one has actually reached premier league ratification, only they can stop the deal now, Ashley can't move the goalposts (again) and buyers can't pull out.

@Archer22 what’s better than a club that’s going to spend about 800m in the next three years lol
-
As a Allan saint maxamin holder take with a pinch of salt but nice to see him gaining some traction over the last week or two , if he can add goals to his game imo he’s a £4 player all day
