Sorry to all the Liverpool haters out there but NOPE ;)
My own personal prediction is that there will be an attempted restart of the premier league and championship, on the proviso that if there is a second lengthy interruption then the leagues finish as they are at the time, with all winners, promotions and relegations honoured

I don't agree with not finishing the season at all. But if it is ended early Id rather they honour current positions or ppg than scrap it altogether.

@ScouseSte I’d assume the players would have to agree to have their contract extended not just up to the clubs surely? Matters to me as a toon fan since M. Longstaff still hasn’t signed a new day.

@ScouseSte ahh I read that as in it was just relating to the loan players. Shame cos if you can only play sports with family members Newcastle could have at least fielded an extra player compared to most teams. Still wouldn’t help us though.

You only have to look at Danny Rose today for a PL player who doesn't think it should return & blatantly doesn't want it to - I'm sure there will be many others.

So while it's tentatively positive news, it would be stupid to uncork the champagne just yet 😐
