-
@The-FIG you missed the FAQ about ipo processes being updated in further releases
-
@Splurger_Dan copy and paste it into google mate
-
@Splurger_Dan Fixed it now mate! Apologies.....forum formatting :)
-
@Ddr Yes, I think that was expected tbh.
I purposely strayed from that as I want to make some more content in the future regarding IPOs and any new process that happens!
-
@The-FIG useful explanation. Thanks for sharing.
I'm being lazy and should probably read and look into more thoroughly but it would be good to understand this from a selling perspective as well and what visibility buyers and sellers will have. So if I want to sell, can I see the buy offers, and vice versa?
-
@Metropolis Hey mate, thanks for watching.
I don't think phase 1 will have greater transparency on the orders. That will come later I believe!
-
@The-FIG good video easy to understand 👍
-
@Doug-s thanks mate!
-
@The-FIG thanks for the video. It’s helped to get the full understanding.
I have a few questions if anyone can help.
1- do you think that players prices will rise before this becomes live? Because of the amount of unlisting? If so is it worth investing in the players beforehand?
2- what will happen to all the players that you have in the sell que? Will they just keep there place?
3- When the bidding becomes live, wouldn’t it be easy to see what the instant sell price is? Or will it be hidden?
Thanks
-
@Bezz82 Hey Bezz, thanks very much mate
To answer your questions (as best I can with the info infront of me)
-
I believe those players with big queues could well see a spike, yes.
-
They will keep their place in the sell queue, correct.
-
We will always see the highest bid order as the IS price (or the average of the 3 highest up to 300 futures)
-
-
Thanks for the reply mate.
Just out of intrest, which players do have a long sell que and look like they might rise before the update?
-
@Bezz82 I'm not too sure as the queues aren't transparent, but players who dropped significantly from peaks during COVID first coming out (Bruno/Pogba) will have big queues for example.
