Football index timeline

Hi guys I have trawler through the blog to bring you a brief history of football index as best I can map it. There are some gaps don't know if any early adopters can fill in.
Oct 2015 - football index launched
Xx - MB introduced at 20p
Xx - instant sell introduced
June 2016 - 4 way share split and reduction of MB to 5p
08/06/2017 - introduction of treble media days
19/08/2017 - introduction of PB
01/11/2017 - doubling of PB, beginning of mass ipos (50 a day in nov)
Mid March 18 - daily ipos pausedSo as you can see there were quite a few big changes summer-autumn 2017
-
@Noirx4 do you envisage another dividends increase at any point mate? Surely once they reach a certain milestone of users that will be the next natural step? Do you agree?
-
@Stevo I've been contemplating today whether a dividend increase or another share split would be preferable to football index. Tbh I will be very surprised if we see anything pre December 18 unless growth plateaus.
-
@Noirx4 yeah, I'm maybe getting s bit carried away but with how fast things seem to have grown the last 3 months or so who knows.
-
Surely the logical step would be to increase the chance of a dividend payout. Top 3 strikers, top 3 midfielders and top 3 defenders.
-
How many active users are there, does anyone know?
-
@Comrade no and I asked them as the London event and they wouldn't answer
-
FI was launched in Oct 2015
-
@Comrade a recent article from 23/1/18 quoted adam cole ceo as announcing 100000 users and some days with over £1m traded. Whether that's active users or total database I don't know
-
@Mr-Matt that's total database not active
-
@Mr-Matt now FI has approximately 139.500 users. Unknown is how many of this are active. Only FI knows that. But the growth rate is amazing. If it keeps at this rate than FI will have approximately 240'000 users at the end of the year. I think thats realistic. FI will keep growing very fast IMO.

The more the merrier
-
@NewUser38991 I agree. We are all so lucky and blessed to have become part of the growth phase early on and whilst it's accelerating!
-
@Mr-Matt
I only joined at the end of March .
Regret not joining sooner
-
@Comrade That's good. So you caught onto the beginnings of the global expansion. People will still be saying the same thing as you in 12 months time and beyond I'm sure.
I joined very end of aug 17 just before pb kicked in and I was thinking the same about those that had joined a year before and got the likes of neymars, messis and ronaldos for £1 - £2 or less!

If I was FI,
I would be a bit worried about players prices hiking and pricing newbies out so I would probably try and increase number of players who can win dividends so more players are tradeable instead of something like this which would hike existing players. If I was them I would be thinking about things like
-Keeper PB (half price due to competition)
-Under 19 player of day (again half price)
-Swedish media buzz winner (1p a day never tripled)And same for other new nations media wise. These would be relatively low payouts but would see different traders. The u19 one would be great for them as there are a lot of wannabe scouts and it would be very unpredictible. The swedish media would be primarily for the swedes obviously but would again see another type of player win.

@Comrade I've been on here a week and a half as I didn't know it existed till it came up on my phone
