Is the ' Buy' button now useless?
-
Has the introduction of the ME now rendered the buy option close to useless?
How many people as of right now are actually buying a player outright, rather than through seeking a lower price by bidding?
I understand that as the spreads tighten and demand increases for a player, then many wouldn't want to risk waiting to buy at a lower price. Rather they anticipate a big jump, and so buy now.
Could we see the ' Buy' option replaced with just a ' Bid' option, instead of ' Buy' and 'Bid'.
Thoughts on this guys?

No once there is no sellers the only option will be to buy from FI

@Meridismo04 As soon as a player is in demand after a goal, assist, performance or transfer rumour and demand outstrips supply the only way to purchase will be through the buy option.
-
Wait til a 30p centre back scores in an early kick off. Then the buy button will be getting hammered!

But if I put a player up for sale at market price, then it will still be in the queue waiting for someone to buy it at that price, surely? (I've done it with one quiet player with no sell orders to see what happens).

@kristiang85 Yes.

@kristiang85 yes it will be in the que once all sells at baught the next option is to buy from FI if they removed the buy option then essentially your saying there will never be any new shares
