Neymar Price Drop?

  • Dropped from £11.93 to £11.87....anyone know the reason?

  • This is a 0.5% drop mate...

  • @Blue-Python yeah but that's 600 futures sold based on the 1p drop:100 futures sold ratio

  • he started the day at 11.84. Why did he go up?

  • @Blue-Python i'm guessing that's a rhetorical question but I see what your saying....I should not be so concerned over a small fluctuation.

  • Think it is more likely that 600 were put in the queue. Can't understand how anyone would be stupid enough to instant sell him on no news. The only thing that scared traders on Neymar was what if he has a serious injury? He's had one and held his value, only one direction for his overall movement

  • I was watching the ticker earlier and one guy was instant selling loads of big guns - I assume he was cashing out his portfolio because we're talking 600 Hazard, 400 Griezmann, where it just seems unnecessary to IS. Didn't notice Neymar at the time but it's possible the same person dumped a few hundred of him too.

  • 6p or whatever off a over inflated injured future is hardly a scandal.... because of fix media buzz it don’t give him a god givern rights to only go up in value... if he had no legs I’m sure people would expect him to still go to £20

  • No idea doubt anyone knows there will be big big drops and rises in the next month's I'm talking 10% pluses. Don't worry about 0.5%

Not meaning to sound nasty but people who will by a future for £11 need a reality check!!

I’d aplaud the big investors who bought at £2 or £3 to pull the plug instead of shoreing up a injured football future If they sold the lemmings Who paid £11 will soon follow then we could buy back at £5 of so which is what a injured future should be worth... or better still make media buzz fair for all... there’s only so long us PB player holders will subsidise the media bullshit before we pull our investments .

Real media news based on either a name or full name for all if we need heung-min son to get a artical only fair to have MOHAMED SALAH full fooking name too... rigged media drives away investment it’s not a coinsidance that FI shortened salahs name and the articals started flooding in ... things need revising after the World Cup for all

  • @Chicken-Badge I like you a lot CB and I respect your opinions. However I find this obsession with son and bashing people who want to buy neymar a bit tedious mate. The fact is neymar is one name on the index and always has been, so to say it is rigged is just sour grapes.

I don't think you are being nasty but if people want to buy neymar then that's their prerogative. The point of the index is for people to spot opportunity to make themselves money and if they lose out because people then sell that particular plauer then that's the name of the game.

People have the right to buy son, or anyone else in the index for cheaper if they wish but prove your point by making money in other ways rather than moaning that neymar keeps rising and suggesting it's because of something dodgy.

As I say mate I like you a lot and you give a lot of value to this forum but ive seen you mention it a few times now and the fact neymar is the highest priced player on the index is far more than because he's got 1 name.

  • @Chicken-Badge Normally i would agree with you he should fall but he has things going for him both long and short, but in my eyes, he is the best guy on the index high MB pull, Excellent PB chance in about 20 league games as ligue 1 is shocking. Should be the most expensive guy in the index. Unless suffering a year-long or massive injury a month off before a world cup for arguably the 3rd best player in the world and with the option of him returning to lead the most successful national team of all time. i think the Issue is with the above and the other players so close behind him there is nowhere for him to fall.

Also one word name for MB.

Well i think he will return a hefty amount of dividends in a month or so triple buzz before a world cup when many pundits have tipped him to star this year. I hold and i expect him to rise before and maybe during the world cup. Then it's triple media buzz afterwards where he may still make some money, especially with PSG FFP.

In regards to the news front, something needs to happen here. Son is screwed as he would bring up a billion points if done. Victor Lindelof/Seri as well other examples. We need someone dedicated to the news stories working on these from like 09-23:00 just putting them in. Don't see it happening mind but this is a massive problem.

  • @Chicken-Badge Even if you ignore his MB, pretty sure Neymar has the best PB stats around too.

  • @Blue-Python personally think if neymar went back to la liga his price would drop if anything after the transfer cos it's a harder league. If he went to man Utd on the other hand.

Not a obsession with son his price is down at moment due to a run of away games I’ve sild 60% of my holding weeks back and the point is reuben neves scored goal of season but not many saying Rubin and neves together... son has a double barrelled obscure South Korean name however
Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior is just Neymar!! Mohamed Salah (Who I adore) gets Mo... Fred gets Freddie Fintoffs news feed shared with Mendy for house purchase perposes and then Neymar drops 8p and nobody gets it... PB players who are consistent drop but media Old due to a system that purely don’t work.... it’s not about who will won’t buy what it’s about turning on FI in a morning and all the top 200 having a chance of media buzz not 10 otherwise we may as well have a top 10 and a squad only no first team....

  • hahahhahahahhahaha

If only there were a couple of players called 'Boris' or 'Trump'

  • @Chicken-Badge like i say CB it's nothing personal but to suggest it's a fix etc is daft. Everybody buys the players who they believe have the best chance of making them money. The fact neymar has one name is a big selling point which bumps his price right up but there are other factors which make him a prime future to hold.

I'll admit I used to think owning neymar was crazy and also admit I've since bought and sold salah as well because I realised having a mix of cheaper end and premium players gave me a good mix to maximise my income.

Just my opinion but even now neymar is worth buying because he's not back from Injury for another month or whatever. He's definitely not going down in price based on current circumstances that's for sure. Closer he gets to a return and the higher he will go. I reckon by 1st June he'll be £14.

If you ask me that's more likely to attract users than scare them off but I respect your opinion.

  • @Chicken-Badge do not understand your logic here or what drives this irrational hatred of media buzz.

    Data since start november

Firstly neymar has generated £0.6 in pb dividends in that time. The only 2 players to top this are parejo £0.62 and Ronaldo £0.7 you probably count Ronaldo as media player too. During this time neymar has also generated £1.2 in media, Ronaldo £0.83 and parejo £0

    Danny parejo - cost - £2.30 - pb ROI - 27% mb - 0%
    Neymar - cost- £11.87 - pb ROI - 5.1% mb - 10.1%
    Ronaldo - cost- £9.59 - pb ROI- 7.3% mb - 8.7%

    So that's 27%, 15.2% and 16% ROI in 6 months.

All of those are insane returns for any investment therefore I don't see why people are crazy to pay the price for neymar. And he and Ronaldo are far more than simply media players. Also I don't understand how you think you are subsidising anything unless you are constantly instant selling your players to pay football index wages.

Just my thoughts. Media is here to stay. Get on board it's fun.

Maybe a politics index.... I’d be buying lots of Ed Balls(football and porn feed), Edwina Curry(food feed) Jack Strew (jack and Jill 3 little pigs story’s) Tony Blair (Blair witch) avoid millibands and any Japanese or Chinese leaders !!! With unsexy names!!!

  • @Chicken-Badge I suppose you could say is isco signs for city his price will rocket as well.he won't get quite as much buzz as Ronaldo but one name player coming to the UK could be massive so maybe an opportunity that?
