Buying at market price

Out of curiosity has anyone bought anyone at buy now price since ME was launched or is everyone just bidding and keeping everything crossed?
Imagine buy now will only be used for rising players going forward.

All the ticker trades are at market price I believe - so seems plenty

I've mainly paid market prices except for 2 players.
I bid on a few players but they rose up so bids weren't going to come off. I had to cancel them and get on at market price because the spread closed in and I'd miss the boat more.
I learned quickly that trying to save 5 to 10p on a player could cost you that whilst waiting. Be better if you knew that a player has sells in a queue.

@MrPotatoHead_FI ive only paid market price for players with tight spreads as i find the reason the spread is so tight no one wants to sell. I have wondered whether Whales could use this to protect and even gain cap on holds by listing huge buy orders close to market value on players they hold making other potential buyers more inclined to pay market value for a quick purchase but in turn push the value up
