Big fan of his, think he's absolute class and should be a mainstay for club and country if he can stay fit. Don't pump him too much though as he's next on my list!

Big fan outside of FI but I don't see much value in centre-backs on here. They're not as bad as goalkeepers but they don't reach big heights in terms of prices and in terms of PB possibilities they're up against wingbacks.
I have a personal rule that I don't buy goalkeepers or centre-backs now. So not for me.

He's an interesting one, particularly in the current climate.
Not doubting the quality of the player and what he's likely to achieve going forward but he happens to play alongside 2 PB monsters who aren't likely to leave in the next 2/3 seasons. With almost zero chance of MB I can't see any realistic reason to invest/ bet on him.

@Harford-is-God I remembered what it was i think, it was when one of the sky news anchors said Chelsea were trying to sign a EPL defender from a 'rival' for 80m and refused to say anymore the media went to Joe Gomez iirc.
Basically a nothing story.
