Thriving!

On Sunday I had a trading meltdown and ended up losing 2% of my port value from buying duds and instant selling within hours.
Yet this platform continues to surprise me ...
From -2% to +1% in 4 days. By doing NOTHING!
.
Don't let anyone tell you FI isn't thriving! πͺ

Some things people will say in response to this:
- That's not profit until it's banked
- Your actual profit is below that
- The matching engine is a con
- Football Index are swindling us
- Footstock is much better
-
There are some pitfalls to the ME however it is good to be able to trade
-
I really don't get it. π€
If you want to go, go!
If you want to stay, then stay.
If you think the grass is greener elsewhere, put your money over there.
What I can't stand is people whining about the product then hanging around like a bad smell.
Puzzles me. π

Business is booming! Some strange behaviour in the last couple of days with everyone just seeming to buy the same few players for no apparent reason but the market will soon adjust. Is Trent really worth a quid more than he was 3 days ago? Not sure what I missed π€£
-
@Yellow agree with the first 4 no need for the FS dig, different products and many of us play both.
-
@Thatguy Dont get burned out there! π€£
-
@Silver no chance mate! Been around a little too long to be buying after strange rises. Can see a few new players getting burnt though
-
@Thatguy Easily done in the rush of the moment though
-
@Thatguy But i like it. Its more of a game of cat and mouse

I know, I'm one of them.
But the main reason for the quick money many have made on FS is simply because it's a younger product and there has been a rapid growth in the user base. I'm not kidding myself that it's anything other than that.

Another FS thread βΊ

@Vespasian32
Same old thing on these forums.- claim anyone discussing a positive point gets it and understands
- claim anyone discussing a negative point is an idiot who should leave
- remind everyone about how well FS is doing
It is getting quite droll
-
@MrWh1te you don't need to discuss this tiresome tirade with Vespasian on here - you have your own forum for that π
-
Another theme seems to be occurring where the same people turn threads into FS discussions even when its not been mentioned in the OP.
-
@Advinculas-Index
I believe if you read, it was a FI person who mentioned it.
And if you read the other thread, again, it was used as an argument to back up FI.It is 'FI people' who keep mentioning it :)
-
Why canβt we all just get along and focus on taking each others money in any way we like π

Who, me?
I don't identify as a FI person nor a FS person as I have a position in both.
That post was tongue in cheek and I'm sure most people realised that π
