Links to Liverpool seem to have materialised within the last couple days, seems like the kind of player they'd go for as well, as he's out of favour and seemingly available on a cut price deal. Will be interesting to see where he ends up.

@ChazFI123 Pretty sure they have said they are out of the race for Werner ( at the end of the season at least), so no need to worry right now.

Spot on mate.
All the reports I have read about Dembele paint the picture of a god given talent with the professionalism levels of a Sunday league amateur.
I would love to be proven wrong as I hate seeing young wonderkids amounting to nothing more than mediocrity.

Klopp new Ousmane Dembele from his Dortmund days and is a known admirer of the player,I think a move to Liverpool is on the cards and not just rumour.

With his professionalism I don’t think any top club will want to take the risk in signing him, only a loan option will be on cards

Liverpool have done such intelligent business over the past 3-4 years and this just doesn’t feel like that to me.
Even if they get him cut price, Barca paid £130m odd so it’ll still be a significant outlay for an injury prone player with reported attitude problems, especially in the current climate.

Barcelona are making it out like big clubs want him, Juve were linked with the same deal also 😂
It’s just a way of a club trying to gather interest in a player by making it look like everyone is after them.

If he came to PL and was a stroppy twat like Ballotelli was, he could be MB gold. But at least Ballotelli tried and generally turned up to training. One to watch.

@Valhalla I think Balotelli made it because Roberto Mancini was a father figure. That and Mancini seemed to really enjoy the father figure role.
Dembele doesn't have that option over here. Or anywhere. Marseille are still doing their Grench revolution and have CL next year, a loan could happen. Purely me speculating, mind you.

Dembele is a potential replacement for Salah if the big Spanish clubs come calling for him but I don't think Klopp would want him.
Also, on that note, what Klopp did amazingly was not trying to replace Coutinho with a like for like player. He changed the system and used that money to improve the team. If Salah or Mane leave, I think he does the same and he doesn't bring in an ego like Dembele.

@Lukeroro this is so true, you see people going 'ooo they're gonna sell Salah and sign Mbappe!!', it's literally the polar opposite philosophy to how he built their current team!
