Pb debacle

Shocking error again on last night's payouts.
Barca were given Cs bonus then had it mysteriously removed... 22p espinosa takes the prize.Presumably this was opta error and new ruling is they payout on scores at midnight.
They need to do something about this and have staff available and certifying results before the payouts. The excitement of footy coming back and you get that long awaited pb win... Only to be cheated out of it.

Has anything been said about it yet by FI? Very disappointed not to see them in my account this morning, it was my first pb win since football returned. Happy to give them a little time to settle correctly but will be fuming if it is not rectified.

Jordi Alba was top defender. Points just seemed to randomly disappear at about 11:40 and put him into 2nd.

I can have sympathy that either human error or a data glitch at 11pm on a Saturday night resulted in the incorrect Def PB payout, these things happen, & it's not always reasonably to expect them to be resolved in the hour before payout happens. However once it comes to light it should be corrected, if as I believe is the case, Alba should be credited extra points for a CS which results in him winning PB then FI have a responsibility to pay that 8p PB dividend to his holders, even if it can't be actioned until Monday.
They reclaimed the incorrectly paid 5 MB places from 1st June (day after promotion had finished but FI forgot to correct the payout structure) from recipients as it was "awarded in error" the same rule should apply if a correct payout is NOT paid out in error. If they attempt to hide behind the "only payout the midnight OPTA winners" defence then Alba holders will quite rightly be outraged & justifiably feel cheated but I believe FI should have the chance to do the right & fair thing first, before getting too much abuse. We would all wish for more professionalism & competence but we are where we are I'm afraid.
I very much doubt FI want to set the precedent that they will cheat holders out of their legitimate winnings when any error favours them & also reclaim any erroneous payouts when it doesn't. In the past FI have always tended to get to the right decision eventually, even if they have sometimes had to be reluctantly dragged towards it.

I’m an Alba holder. I’m feeling a bit miffed. I am uncertain about whether they will pay or not. My miffedness may change on the result.

He’ll get paid. If he doesn’t it’ll be FI’s biggest cock up yet and that’s no mean feat. They’ve a catalogue of them so big it makes Littlewoods look like a miniature supplement.
