Not read the full backstory - but if he's been doing what he's supposed to have done.
(Consistently) Promoting FS - encouraging people to put money there, then "yes" he definitely does deserve his ban.
Something like 2-3 months would be my vote. 👍
Hopefully, he can stop pushing the FS agenda when he's back on or the next ban would be permanent.

Erm. This is a hypothetical. The person doesn't exist. Based on the information given which punishment if any would befit the 'crime'.

@Dalian-Smith has to be a warning then....can't just go banning people unless they really say something baaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

Don’t you give warnings to people for a singular incident or for unknowingly doing wrong?

Had to be a warning, then short ban and then banned for good.
I don't know what, if any discussion @Vespasian32 had with FI regarding this matter.
You'd have hoped they'd have warned him about his conduct first though.

I voted no ban.
He did NOT promote FS.
Someone slagged off him and used FS as an excuse.
He replied to that post about the good stuff in FS.Has the first person been banned?
Then, someone else started a NEW thread to complain that he had responded in the first thread. And everyone jumped on that too.
He did NOT promote FS, all he did was defend himself and certain people here should be ashamed of themselves.
Seems there is a clique of people (who are also slagging him off on slack I believe) who bait hit and then when he replies, they report his post.Disgusting.

@MrWh1te I don't know if you can't see what he was doing or are refusing to but you're wrong. He was posting FS promotions in the FI forums. It doesn't matter who started the posts. Everybody could see the agenda he was pushing, except yourself it seems.

I see what he did.Someone slagged off FS.
He responded by standing up for FS.He got banned and the person slagging off FS is sat there laughing about it.

@MrWh1te Saying FS is better is standing up for the product. Posting a list of current promos is advertising the product. Anyway good luck with selling your port, maybe you'll be back when things pick up again.

@MrWh1te It's disappointing your defending this. There's so much FS promotion in Vesps back catalogue. I think that fact is beyond dispute. But has he been treated unfairly by FI. That's what I'd like to determine. This poll poses a hypothetical question. Should somebody who has found to be overly critical of FI and at the same time time promote a rival product. Should that person recieve a forum sanction?
