The recent massive shifts in top 20 players for very little on field reasons has me concerned that there are syndicate groups forming which as an individual makes me a bit nervous. Yes we can ride it out but surely the market shouldn’t be manipulated as much as it is. The money involved to make a top 20 player drop 15p surely has to be significant and therefore I believe it to coordinated especially when it rises the next day. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?

I could tell you my thoughts but they would blow your mind

@jimmyb1700 If you see it happen and know what's going to take place within 24 hours, my thoughts are pile in with that easy cash.
Bruno seems to be a once a month occurrence.
-
My simplistic view would be if it's your player that drops significantly don't sell and use it as an opportunity to top up or buy in.

@jimmyb1700 it wouldn't be difficult for FI to investigate if that is the case, so worth mentioning it to them if you have the details and any proof.
It will be the same group/individuals listing, buying and then delisting.
-
Thanks for the comments and I agree to keep buying quality players especially if they hit a low
-
@jimmyb1700 It’s possible. Manipulation of the market will be evident when order books arrive as they will successfully be able to fool traders into selling or buying on the strength of orders that aren’t intended to be matched.

Completely agree with this. Ppl make way too much of market manipulation by big fish. Simple fact is, if they keep listing/delisting to affect the price, it’s something FI can see a mile off. Then they would likely have their accounts shut down.

No doubt that a syndicate is working on the index. Bruno Fernandes down Crazy amounts and then up higher than before. Hopefully FI can pin point the market manipulators. My advice is hold and continue holding. Don’t let them manipulate you. They want to buy your shares at a cheaper price!!

No problems with it.
If you know what's happening, use it to your advantage.
Think of it as a fire-sale

could simply be big hitters with tons of cash who have been on the platform for 3 years the bet has expired so have had to cash in
one can hope =)

one can hope =)They are not enforcing the 3 year bet at present, i guess that when they are in a position to do so (by being able to provide traders with timestamps or t minus expiry dates) they will then give everyone an extension of time.

@Advinculas-Index i always had the impression when i joined last july that its a 3 year hold im sure thats what i read unless im goin nuts in my old age lol

@Advinculas-Index AC said in the recent q n a that the 3 year rule is in force. They are working on a clock to show how long you have left. But specifically told the questioner that he had to sell his shares before 3 years were up.
I believe CS said that it wasn't... I would be very wary of keeping my shares once they are over the 3 years. You cannot put it past FI to suddenly enforce it.
