Some advise on Spreads please
-
Guys, can someone please explain how the spreads work? I am a bit confused how some are so much bigger than others. For example: Haaland's spread is 7.69 instant sell and 8.22 buy - a spread of 53p per share. Marin Pongracic is .40 sell and .54 buy - 14p spread and Tim Kleindienst is .31 sell and .60 buy - 29p spread. In Haalands case is it that lots of people want to sell hence the bigger spread and on the other side of the coin nobody wants to sell Pongracic so the spread is a lot less? Appreciate your thoughts/advice on why this might be. Thanks

The instant sell price is based on what people are bidding...if Haaland's spread is very big then it means that people are not wanting to buy him, and are only willing to bid for a big sized discount

The £7.69 is based on the average of the highest 300 bids on him.
