I'm guessing a lot of you guys have been asked for proof of earnings but as a professional gambler for 9 years I don't have any. I have responded with the like but do you think I will be able to continue?

I think it's fine for the money to come from winnings but they will ask to see the withdrawals from other betting accounts. If its cash at the bookies... No chance. But im guessing you're more online betting?

@Tom7471 No. There’re tonnes of people on here who make an income from betting/trading on betting markets.

@Mr-Atouba you passed EDD without any proof or earnings? Impossible. It is literally a wealth assessment. That's why @LittleFish is being asked for tax returns and all sorts. I had to send payslips matching my bank statements.
DD is just a proof of address check... A bank statement will have sufficed for that... Maybe that's what you are referring to?

@Coriolanus No the bank statement had to be shown in full. Not just the utility bill/statement needed for proof of address where you just show the top.
How many bettors/traders on here? Hundreds.
No tax returns, no payslip. What if you bet in shops? What if you fund your FI activity with savings?

@Mr-Atouba my understanding and experience of EDD is that you have to show where the funds come from.
Anyone can SAY 'won it at the bookies' no one can prove that so it won't qualify
Savings have a paper trail.. Online betting accounts have a paper trail... Birthday cheque from your great auntie has a paper trail.

I fund my trading here from my savings and passed EDD last month. I had to give them full audit trail of where the funds in my savings originated, and then give them bank statements showing full audit trail of where my deposits into FI came from.

@Tom7471 I got sent health check yesterday for withdrawing money... Despite passing EDD and dd in last couple of months. Got straight onto twitter and live chat to them and resolved it very quick.

@Coriolanus nice. I had a health check the same time as westy (just as the matching engine came in) and then just had this bigger one about a week ago. They are very slow at getting back to me. Should be fine though, although I haven't got a lot of proof of earnings.

@Londoner How did you get on doing this.
I have deposited 31k have a p60 with 27k I have shown them my bank account statement.
Now they have asked for profit and loss on betting sites as I have betting transactions as I do matched betting.
Anyone been asked for p/l of the gambling sites ?
