Anybody think 5-6 for man city to beat Chelsea is good?
-
I have had a small bet on it at 5/6 but wondered what everyone's thoughts on this match on Thursday is?
-
I'd say City are slightly overpriced, but I have a memory of I think Luiz scoring and Chelsea beating them 2-0 and City had like 15 shots and way more possession, think Kante might've even scored as well!
-
Doesnt seem like its worth the risk to me. The odds are decent i suppose but its in no way a sure fire City win. Peo might be inclined to take things easy in the league to put hos full focus on the champions league
-
Both to score
-
im backing City elsewhere, think Sterling was rested? Chelsea looked ok versus villa, but City look a slick machine and some of those players need to finish on better form.
-
I'd say City are slightly more likely to win but it's definitely not something i would take the risk on myself. Chelsea looked good against Villa and it was by no means a first choice 11.
Pulisic getting a goal against Villa and with Werner and Ziyech coming in might have something to prove, especially with RLC being woeful out wide (he has not played football in like 14 months though so)
I think it will be a good game, looking forward to seeing how it plays out but like i said i personally wouldn't bet on it myself as i can see it going either way but City edge it at the moment, i also think Chelsea are 95% likely to concede.
@ChazFI123 Yes Kante did score in the 2-0 i think it was in the same season he bagged one against you guys as well!

@Tom7471 I have Man City 1.9 assuming they play the same teams as their last games (which they won’t). I don’t bet before team news.
-
Reports saying pep will rest a lot of players tonight to focus on cup games. Anyone think he wants to let Liverpool win the trophy off the park and take a bit of the shine off it for them?
-
@Black-Wolf potentially but would he rest KDB, Sterling, Laporte, Walker etc for 2 games in a row, as it seems like all the big hitters got rested against Burnley? I've given up trying to second guess Pep but in his defence he doesn't do a Klopp and throw games, he usually tries to win every game he plays and plays a strong side no matter what. I don't think Foden will play, I think a similar side to the Burnley game will play against Newcastle I think he may end up having team 'A' and team 'B'. Also if they don't win tonight then they have to go to Liverpool who are getting crowned champions next, I guess it'd be nicer to beat Chelsea and then beat Liverpool (or try to) and spoil the party
-
@ChazFI123 yeah your probably right. I mean what does a rested city side look like, theres so much rotation in that squad that media could claim he’s resting key players every week
-
@Black-Wolf I guess the most simplistic way of looking at it is if KDB plays haha. Hoping Laporte plays, think City are a much better side with him in it. If City win 3rd/4th could be wide open, so atleast some part of this return will be exciting till the end!

I'm gonna say 1-1 ... Jorginho pen and typical Mahrez cutting in from the right and firing it home.
-
0-2 City Sterling and Gundagon
-
3-1 Chelsea
Mahrez to score and Pulsic with all 3 for Chelsea.
Full disclosure: This prediction is 100% unbiased.
-

That transfer ban has been a blessing in disguise. So many positives have come from it. I may just be in a good mood from the Arsenal win, but a lot of good vibes from the neutral towards Chelsea
Pulisic I uesd to have a big hold in. I watched him a fair bit for Dortmund, massive talent,. Potential to be king one day if soccer ball keeps growing in the US of A and their media is integrated
