Man City in for Traore??..
-
Is it likely Man City would consider a move for Traore now they have sold Sane?
-
@NewUser57288 leon Bailey is more likely
-
No chance we will sell unless it's a huge offer. I think our owners are underestimated at the moment.
-
I get the feeling wolves might be selling him, its not a coincidence that liverpool/Man Utd/city have now all been linked in the last few months......
-
@Tom77 agree.. esp when Nuno has said he can’t confirm whether he will be staying..
-
Why would he move from Wolves this season? City have no Champions league and Sterling/Mahrez are likely to play the majority of games... First team starter in Europa league/ maybe Champions league.. to playing just in the prem.. seems like a downgrade this season to me.

3 times the wages I should think, or all these links are just to get a better contract....
-
@Tom77 But Wolves have money do they not? Seems at best a sideways step, agree the move in principal for the end of next season when City have Champions league if anything. He is still young and likely to benefit more from another season at Wolves than City IMO.
Idk i personally think Wolves are looking to take a top 4 spot not become another Tottenham/Arsenal fighting for europa.
-
Wolves will have a much lower wage structure than the likes of Man city and Liverpool though.

A little google and it comes up with 43k a week for adama, the top boys at city get 300k a week, agents know this and want a piece also, all part of the game.
It’s most likely contract and wage speculation imo to get a rise.
-
@Advinculas-Index I doubt Man city are going to pay him 200k/week, Traore is currently on 43k/week from what i can find out.
Wolves now being a Europa league/potential champions league side could easily go up to the 120-150k/week City/Liverpool would pay surely?
@Tom77 yeah i just found out the same lol. I agree.
-
Its all speculation so no one really knows
It would be feasible that Man City look to him as a replacement for Sane, whilst i wouldn't be surprised to see one of Liverpool's front 3 move on in the near future. Either way, whether he moves or not there is bound to be some speculation of the coming months.
-
@Matt-flint Highly doubt that. What has Bailey done to warrant a move to City?
-
@Gaz only time will tell. I agree he’s not achieved a great deal but I’ve watched a fair bit of him now and looks decent. Would be a cheaper option for most clubs as I don’t think where going to see huge transfer fees this summer.
German cup final tomorrow and I was reading yesterday, Liverpool Everton and both Manchester clubs sending scouts to watch him 🤷♂️ might be rubbish but I hope the lad has a great game.
I only hold a couple of hundred so haven’t gone in to deep but picked him up at a good price and he’s still only £2, seems a safe steady bet to me.
-
@Matt-flint I think he's looked really inconsistent for the most part and reckon he's a long way off the standard required to perform in a top PL team.. He's got time on his side though, so you never know!
-
@Gaz yes agree with that. Just look at what Sir Kloop has done with some average under performing players in the past 3 years tho, I believe the lads talented and with some help and better players around him I reckon he would improve a lot. He needs to tho as you’ve pointed out.
-
@Matt-flint The issue with Bailey is from what i remember when Chelsea were interested his Step-dad wanted some sort of shady deal that Chelsea would agree to sign some of his other players from his Football school.
-
@London-Is-Blue think he’s changed his agent and mangement team now tho. Either way I think he’s good value at £2 especially looking at others his age and there price. He may not get a move but I’m holding for now
