Just announced his retirement at 29. Still showing with a sell price- someone may get burned. Glad I don't hold.
Never been in possession of a player who retired. When IS was a thing, was it almost immediate that FI but the sell value at zero, or was there a big delay with holders dumping all their worthless shares?

What surprises me most about the whole thing is that he only 29! Thought he was about 40 by now!!

Wow really surprising that he doesn’t fancy a few seasons getting paid handsomely in the MLS or somewhere - surely he would get offers from those types of leagues?
I guess his heart just isn’t in it anymore - hopefully he has something else line up in life otherwise I could easily see him regretting this.

Jesus I was thinking of loading up on him just the other day when Dortmund cancelled his contract. Really thought he could do a job for a mid table Bundesliga side, dodged a bullet there

@Moukoko I thought at first he was going to announce it was because he was gay and couldn't live with the pressure of not being able to come out (As it was in the news that a current Prem player says he will say all when he finishes) and thought maybe he was announcing as its in the media.
Complete madness that in this day that a person can't just say what they wish to (in terms of sexuality) Having 17 and 19 year old lads I know they don't bat an eyelid who people decide to see...so I think it will become easier as the years pass.

Strange thing is, bids are disabled on him.....and yet someone is buying at market price, havent looked at his graph, do we reckon it was listed shares or newly minted ones being bought?

@Ddr I can only guess that at 29 and playing for Dortmund with CL people had slapped in bids that were pending before the announcement.....but then there's no sell price, so that can't be right.
Maybe the buyers can pop on and tell us why :)

@Munchie63 my point is, if they are selling new shares via market but have disabled bids on him then they are essentially selling a bet that you can never get out of which is completely out of order

don't think they've disabled it....probably no bids
