It is time we talked about Neymar! He is a genuine Football Index hybrid. A PB, MB and therefore dividend machine. And yet his price lags behind other premium holds including other hybrids. Why is this? Is he a risk or value? Here are my thoughts on why his price is where it is, whether I think he is a risk or value and who could be the next Neymar on Football Index. Let me know what you all think?

Great read .... interesting and agree that not only trying to identify the next neymer but also messi and Ronaldo is the route to riches, if nailed correctly. The mb conundrum to a large extent holds the key as PB ability alone will have a ceiling on value.

In recent times kaka and Ronaldinho both declined very quickly near 30, maybe pressure from being huge stars very early on. I can see Neymar going down that road especially if he doesn't get back to barca.

@Tom77 We can't make assessments on Ney based on what happened to two completely different players though. There are other Brazilians who have lasted for ages. That being said, Neymar's mentality is a key factor. He looks to have settled in Paris now and seems to be on the verge of signing a new contract. Plus, while he is under pressure, the pressure in Paris is nowhere near what it would have been had he stayed in Spain.
