App dramas

Anyone else been having issues with the app recently?
I have my location on permanently, but when I open the app, it usually takes two or three attempts to get in as it says I am outside the UK.
Doesn't happen on any other app I have
-
Had that a couple of times, I think when I am struggle signal on mobile data. I also have to put my pin in twice EVERY time I log in, gets right on my tits
-
same with mine on android only over the last week or so
-
@Moukoko yes mate happens quite a lot lately
-
Happens to me quite often too - on Android as well
-
The location issue has been happening to me on Android for a few weeks now, real pot luck whether I get in or not! Have contacted CS on Twitter but had already tried all their suggestions, they don't seem to have any idea.
-
Annoyingly (well not really) on holiday in Portugal and as I can't use the app I'm using the mobile.co.uk site, it's bloody awful!🤦♂️
-
@Marksandygill be careful as you arent allowed to trade on FI outside of the permitted countries its best not to do anything on FI while abroad.
As for location issues ive seen people say this a few times im on IOS and never had this issue so i assume its an issue with the android app.
-
@Black-Wolf are you not allowed to access FI over the browser on a laptop/phone etc while abroad at all? What if you are gone for a long time and your port starts plummeting
-
@Number5 as far as i know no. Its been brought up a few times in the past but I believe you can only use it in countries that FI has a gambling license in. Worst case scenario is that you risk having your account suspended or closed. Someone else may be able to provide better info on this though.
-
@Black-Wolf if that was to happen what would happen to all the money you have in FI?
-
@Number5 most likely they would return your stake but not profits. I dont think its ever happened to anyone with exception of those in Sweden when FI stopped operating there. Best thing to do is check with FI before you travel or use a VPN if you must
-
@Black-Wolf sorry, but a vpn? Lol
-
@Number5 virtual private network. It can give the impression you are logging in from a different location. People use them for online privacy or security. Im not recommending you use one im just saying you could in an FI emergency
-
@Black-Wolf even if I wanted to, I am not really sure how to do that to be honest
-
So I cant use the app but I can use the website if Portugal allows me to?!
As it said that and allowed me onto the website I honestly didn't think it would cause an issue...
-
@Marksandygill from that, it seems to suggest that we can use it over the website abroad but just not the app. If the county allows it then it will proceed to the site
-
@Number5 yes although in the terms I found this,
So I don't want to get into trouble!!
-
@Marksandygill where do we find the list of their territories?
-
@Number5 think it's Britain, Ireland, Canada and New Zealand for now.
