Quick question guys - the dividends, is this paid straight into your cash balance, my cash balance increased over the weeekend without me depositing and my only assumption is dividiends are paid straight to cash balance and not added to the portfolio balance.

@NewUser640619 yes all dividends go into your cash balance to use or withdraw as you wish

Brilliant, thanks for that - seems like a good idea to save up the dividends then re invest in shares but each to their own i suppose.

Yeah some people put straight back in and try and get compounding effect. Others take it out as income or you could save it for a rainy day. Or just look at it admiringly.
