Willian and the MLS worry
-
I am watching the Willian buys going through. Anyone worried about the MLS offer. He could be worth next to nothing on Monday.
-
@Ringers pretty sure he wants to stay in the PL, i think he turned down a move to the MLS already?
-
@Marksandygill not what the agent said on talkSPORT
-
It’s a worry but I think he’s nailed on to join Arsenal.
Good player with limited appeal for me but understand why people are buying
-
@Matt-flint I think arsenal are the most likely as well, how a move to a worse team increases his value is beyond me.
Short term div wins, long term loss.
-
Still fancy the Spurs move and linking up with Mourinho!
-
More guaranteed game time at Arsenal I guess, if he goes to the MLS he can probably kiss goodbye to a Brazil call up...
-
@Ringers think it’s a buy now sell at the weekend plan. He would increase in value at Spurs or Liverpool but not sure he’s got offers or certainly Liverpool would want him.
-
@Ringers He scores high on PB and is about to win on TOTM dividends. I dont think a move to Arsenal would affect that. He is waiting till after the cup final to decide and see if Arsenal get into Europe.
He could play less at Chelsea next season with Ziyech and others coming in.
Plus the MLS was always going to be a no go with his restaurant business in London looking to take off. The one he owns with Arsenal's David Luiz.
-
@DJ-110 and if arsenal don’t get into Europe?
-
Highly likely he stays in London. He likes it here. There's a large Portuguese speaking community here from Brazil, Portugal and Madeira.
-
@Ringers He could stay at Chelsea. Linked with a couple of other premier league clubs too. Would be quite funny if he scored the winner Saturday to decide on who he joins.
-
I’m sure I read the MLS offers required him to start on July 1st. I’m 95% confident he will stay in PL, hoping he signs at Arsenal as that’s where he’ll see the most game time imo
-
I think he will take the 2 years from Chelsea
