At least 2 of them are deceased

That must be a good few hundred k sat there never to leave FI's pocket!
Interesting that at some point someone thought Vladimir Gabulov, a Russian GK would be worth a punt...😁
-
Apart from Sala who else has left this mortal coil on that list will remove them from the source data
-
@Advinculas-Index Davide Astori. I've just searched both him and Sala but neither actually came up so FI must have removed them

Most players actual sell prices are higher than the shown IS which will throw your calcs off?
-
True but i've assumed that people are aware that when referring to the spread its based on the top 300 bids (Which is the figure that it is derived from when people talk about a players spread in general)
-
@Advinculas-Index cheers, really useful. I thought the data was wrong as one of my cheapo's wasn't listed as having no IS but now checked and he finally has! I'm sure pretty much all players will have an IS at times. Stunned to see no bids on RLC though. If I had a cash balance, I'd have a cheeky bid myself.
-
@Advinculas-Index nope, all confuses the hell out of me, Kane cost me £6.76, he's worth £6.31, I can sell him for £5.55 but actually sell at £5.71...🤷♂️
-
@Marksandygill £5.55 is the average of the top 300 bids, but if you're selling in smaller batches, the price you get could very well be higher. £5.71 is the current top bid, but it might only be for 1 share. It's a shame this info isn't visible easier, as I'm sure more bids would be getting accepted if people realised. Clearly we are likely to have all this info when full OBs are implemented.
-
@Mintyfresh ahh so as I only have say 10 shares it finds the highest bid for that amount!
How are my shares apparently worth £6.31 then?😆
-
@Marksandygill I don't hold Kane but as you do you would be able to drill down and see how many shares are available to sell and at what price.
e.g there may be 10 x £5.71 available, then 15 x £5.69, 4 x £5.65 etc, all the way down.
-
@Marksandygill that's the current market price, which is driven by how many shares are in issue. That's the price anyone would pay if they can't do a deal though the matching engine. You can list your shares in the sell queue and potentially get the market price at some point, but depending upon the player, it can be a long wait.
Ultimately that's the trade off and why people get so interested in the spread; use market sell to get a better return but in an unknown timeframe vs IS at a lower price but get your money immediately. Which I would use would be based on why I need the money and how large the spread is.
-
@Mintyfresh minimum bid is 1.84 which for someone unlikely to start much once Ziyech and Werner arrive is probably not far off his real price
-
@Advinculas-Index is this an automated set up that you have created? It looks hugely useful to see where the larger spreads are on the MEs.
-
@NewUser731
I download the data from indexalerts - the spreadsheet i have set up is automated

@Advinculas-Index cheers Mate really appreciate that. I'll have a look at it this evening. Thanks for the pointer.
