Barca new manager?
-
Who do people see as the next Barca manager and which players are to benefit from the FI perspective?
-
Chris Wilder and Everyone to benefit!
I think they should go with Imanol, and obvious beneficiary of any manager change will be Griezmann
-
@Gelo808 the story is the next manager will only be a 1 year stop gap, because there will be club presidential elections next year with the winner intent on appointing Xavi as manager.
-
Has to be potch all day long.
-
@osmanlao They were my thoughts straight away. The next one was Harry Kane would go straight to Barcelona. The next one was buy Harry Kane.
-
@NewUser531742 I had £20 on potch at 15/2 last night during first half.He is now 4/5 fav.
-
Sweet, put the winnings into buying Harry Kane.
-
@Gregolocky Xavi? Haha. Another of the old guard then. Club needs clearing from top to bottom and employing Xavi would be disastrous.
Barca are imploding.
-
@JonesyFI-WH I know but that’s the rumors knocking around. Can’t remember the current club presidents name but he’s 100% out the door next year and the favorite to replace him is strongly linked with Xavi as part of his election campaign.
The club is fucked from top level in fighting amongst themselves, more political shite than the US elections 🤣
-
@Gregolocky i'd say practically all the people outside the club think it would be disastrous but the club president thinks he'd be a perfect fit! They really are a laughing stock mate.
-
@JonesyFI-WH ya, Messi has been the glue keeping the club together by winning despite being a quite average squad. Now even the little man is starting to creak under the pressure of the club sitting on his shoulders
-
I can't see Pochettino going there. He played for and managed Espanyol. Would be as bad as Poch managing Arsenal.
-
I could see Koeman taking the short term job prior to Euros with Holland
-
I mean what manager wouldn't want to manage a Barcelona team with an average age of almost 30, who universally hate the bloke at the top and have no money to buy new players?🤷♂️
Maybe given a few years they could build a team around the likes of Fati, Trincao, De Jong and Puig, but at least give Coutinho and Griezmann a chance!
-
There transfers over the last couple of years have been shocking. Need to sack who ever's making them
-
Am still not sure what the point of Greizmann purchase was. They obviously had no plan of how to use him properly. That said, same applies to Coutinho who was stuck with them not deciding if he was playmaking midfielder or wide forward & in the end didn't give him proper chance in either.

maybe because they can sell Coutinho, Griez, Umtiti and raise considerable sums.
They have Fati, Puig, Firpo, Todibo, Wague, Alena coming through, along with De Jong, Llenglet Semedo, Dembele. The club just needs them pulling in the right direction.
-
@Munchie63 not sure anyone has the money to pay 'considerable' sums for them, also it's not like they're bad players, maybe they just need a manager who can get the best out of them!?

Hes specifically said numerous times that he would never manage barca due to his espanyol links, but you never know. My gut is I believe him bit eouldnt be surprised if he did end up there lol
-
@DanM Espanyol got relegated this season to laliga 2.
