following on from the FIG broadcast from last night i wanted to see how people felt about the best strategy regarding buys over then next few months. i haven't got much money to put into FI at the moment but if i did i would probably try to get low bids in before commission on matched bids comes in. Fig or Fi panda said they would keep a balance for the matched selling comes in. Any thoughts on what strategy would give most value?
@jonathan-rolfe either build a keeper section to your portfolio or wait till sell orders for quick bargains, you will get better prices on bids but have to wait to get them matched. Sell offers will mean paying a little more than the current bids but it may be chaotic at first so matching the offers may lead to IPO like occurrences where you end up paying more than you expected because prices will be so volatile
